Staying at the Dwarika Hotel was probably one of the most overwhelmingly positive hotel experiences I've ever had at. First of all, it is a complete oasis from the hustle&bustle of downtown Kathmandu just outside its entrance. The hotel grounds are gorgeous, you truly feel like you are staying in a palace and speaks to the beauty of the local...

This was our treat after a 2-week trek and it was absolutely amazing. I can't speak higher of this place. We loved everything: - staff: very helpful, very professional but approachable and lovely, especially staff at the restaurants and cafes or even in the little souvenir shop - food: yum. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and ever meal...

We spent a few nights at this most wonderful hotel before and after a trek to Annapurna base camp during Christmas a few years back (2013). It was an outstanding hotel in all respects. We had dinner at all of the hotel restaurants. They were all excellent!

Stayed for 1 night at the start of our Everest Base Camp trek and 2 nights on our return. What an amazing way to start and end a holiday. From the lovely greeting on arrival, to the check in process everything was swift and efficient. Rooms were really lovely. Excellent beds and pillows. Breakfast buffet was extensive and very good...

Beautiful place that has amazing rooms. It calls itself the place where the old wooden ornaments are left and the aesthetics are wonderful. But the sleeping experience isn't that great as rooms don't have proper temperature control.

I had such a wonderful stay here, even though it was for one night, I would have loved to have stayed for longer. I will definitely come back here in the future. I was collected from the airport with no bother at all, it was a very quick 10 minute drive from the airport, which is great when you have...

A beautiful hotel that feels a world away from the chaos and noise of the city. The whole place is a tribute to the craftsmanship of Nepal's woodcarvers, and the rooms are authentically decorated in tasteful and unassuming style. A variety of restaurants and bars, food is great, although not exactly cheap. Pool is a welcome respite from the heat...

We stayed here for two nights as everyone we knew recommended this hotel as an experience not to be missed. It is indeed a wonderful choice, definitely a place to try at least once and certainly for special occasions. Location wise not centrally however, there's not much around it. Very close to the airport, and not too far from one...

Perfect location : easy access to airport & historical city. The hotel looks amazing at night & the Nepalese restaurant is worth to try. The junior suite displays modern comfort in a historical environment.
