I had the chance to spend 3 nights in this lovely hotel close to the airport in Kathmandu. I highly recommend it. Building is impressive, very nice grand ambiance. The grounds and the pool are lovely. It is tucked away from the bustle and hustle of what is becoming a very busy and overcrowded city every year I come to...

Excellent location between airport and city center - a very short walk to the main stupa of Kathmandu. Great for relaxing after a days sightseeing or a weeks trekking in Nepal. Nice swimming pool and spa facilities. Free shuttle bus to the city center.

The Hyatt wows you with a tremendous reception area and grand hall. The staff is excellent and the pool area has options for everyone. The facility is grand but if you look closely you start noticing some condition issues in the rooms - scuffed floors, frayed carpets, damaged plaster walls. These are admittedly nits and for Kathmandu they don't add...

Dear Guest, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. . Indeed, the lobby is breathtaking with the traditional temple court or “Chaitya Court” in the middle of our lobby which are replicas of chaityas found in and around the Kathmandu valley. We pride ourselves on our friendly staff, so it is always great to hear that they were able...

We had recently flown great distances on our travel to Nepal, and the Hyatt Regency was like a cool drink of water on a hot day! The lobby was open and spacious, with a simple yet beautiful decor. The staff were helpful and friendly. After settling in to our room, we went downstairs for dinner. In a country famous for...

Wanted a few days of peace and quiet. Noisy guests in passageways late at night and very early in the morning prevented that. Disappointing for a "premium" hotel. Breakfasts on past visits were more varied. On this occasion still adequate. Insufficient lounges around pool.

Great place, comfy rooms, clean and hospitable. A nice escape from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu. We stayed for 2 nights either side of a trek - and it was like coming back home afterwards! I would recommend to any one!

My wife and I really enjoyed our three nights-four days stay in a perfect setting. The whole staff is so cordial and helping that we do not feel like going out for sightseeing after first day...!!! The pool, spa, fitness and the ambience is memorable. The food including breakfast is top notch.

Cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. The Assistant Manager-Outlet, Suman Acharya, assisted us tremendously. The breakfast buffet was excellent. They have a large swimming pool (approx. 25 metres) which was great for swimming laps. The Himalayan Hot Stone Massage was specially good.

There are several large international standard hotels around Kathmandu and the Hyatt Regency near Boudhanath is well worth a visit even if you cannot afford to stay there! Recently we attended a two day symposium there and the environment and the food and refreshments and the service were great. So if you are considering a place to hold a conference...
