If you want a lovely, peaceful place to stay in Kathmandu- this is it. We always base ourselves here. The owners/staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean and decently furnished. Great position. Free wifi.

I'd stay in Boudha all the time, if transport to the city center was not so long and unpleasant. In Buddha, go a bit away from the crowds around the stupa, this place is perfectly located. Most rooms have no private bathroom. The atmosphere is serene, although you may hear noise from nearby construction sites. Wifi works OK. It can...

I like the garden in front of the rooms, the location in the heart of the tibetan district, surrounded by monasteries, the free wifi, the calm and relax atmosphere during the day, the chanting of the monks in the morning, i don't like the cold shower when the weather is cloudy, but I don't mind so much :) Rooms are...

It is my second visit. The first time was in december 2008, There was 12 hours electricity shortcut everyday in Kathmandhu, The whole town and even the best fancy hotel at 30 dollars a night were was cold and damp. Now i am visiting in september and the situation is much better. What I like : - the location in...

The TripAdvisor map is not in the right place. The Lotus Guest House is a five minute walk north, then east of the Boudha Stupa. Lovely, tranquil garden, comfortable rooms. Sure the monks start ringing and banging and chanting at about 5am, but that is what makes Boudha special. I enjoy a lie-in as much as the next guy, but...

This is a guest house run by monastery. It is located in the end of a quiet alley closed to the main square, with very budget price (500 NPR for single room with shared bath room) in Bouddha area, and a nice garden. There are lots of monasteries nearby, so you have a high chance to hear the pleasant sound...

Little jewel in the middle of the touristic area of Boudha in Kathmandu. Rooms are pretty basic, but clean and light. The best thing about this guest house is its location. It is very quiet and sheltered from all the crowds of people coming to the Boudha stupa and nearby area. The guest house has a nice little courtyard and...

I had a nice room, well furnished and a good space. The common bathroom is small but will fill your needs. The location is right by the great stupa, but not in the busiest part of the area. The staff is helpful and the area is nice with a garden with greens and everything is clean and nice.

Good for staying apart Kathmandu. Rather clear (air), but noisy - trumpets at early morning will wake up you. Wi- fi - sometimes (at nights) - good speed. 450 NRs for single I paid. Nice garden, good staff, views from roofs.
