I stayed at the Hub for a good month and a half. It was my "basecamp" in Nepal to travel in some parts of the country. When i was away from Kathmandu, they kept my stuff & bags i did not want to bring for no extra charge. I was looking for something that was NOT in Thamel but close...

When I first came to the Hub I immediately noticed how much nicer it was compared to all the other places I had stayed in Nepal. The Nepalese brothers that run the guesthouse are very open and welcoming. The house is centrally located, so it’s easy to get around and there is an added bonus of having a quiet neighborhood...

Highly recommended: clean; frendly; value for money I am coming to the end of my 9 day stay at 'The Hub Lazimpat' - and will be returning in 2 weeks after my trip to Tibet because it is such a great place. In a residential area & run by 2 Nepalese brothers, so you experience the local way of life....

I stayed here for 2 weeks with some friends and really enjoyed my stay. The two brothers that run the Hub are great, very friendly and helpful. We recently stayed in the Hub on a visit to Kathmandu. It's something fresh and different compared to the usual concrete cells that Thamel hotels offer, and gives you a chance to live in a true Nepali area of Kathmandu- no ticket touts or CD shops outside your door. “Depending if you are solo or a couple, ask the Brothers for the the type of rooms you would like to have, some has private bathrooms and others dont, the prices depends on that. I first came solo in Nepal, then my girlfriend jcame later, the staff were able to accomodate us with no problems, They will do it if you ask and IF they have spare rooms.”
