We happened across Kathmandu Resort Hotel by chance and felt really lucky that we did. Kedar and his staff were very helpful in both our stays. One of our favorite things about KRH is the location on Mandala street which means you can go out for lunch or coffee without having to negotiate the mayhem of Thamel. There is a...

Kathmandu Resort Hotel is amazing. We stayed several times between treks and each time we were welcomed and looked after. All the staff are extremely helpful and always sort out exactly what you need. We arranged a couple of journeys in their hotel car (at a price cheaper than travel agents we asked) to ShivaPuri and to Lumbini. The hotel...

After returning from a 20 day trek I needed a place to stay. I wondered the streets and found the Kathmandu Resort Hotel on a side street opposite northfields restaurant in Thamel. The room I paid for had an ensuite bathroom (toilet and hot shower), double bed, tv (not that you need one), Superfast Wifi and great customer service. I...

Great staff & location. You get what you pay for. It's not 5* but it's clean and tidy with 24hr hot water and AC. The staff are very helpful and have excellent knowledge of the area. The location of the hotel is great. close to the palace, and the garden's. It has restaurants and bars on it's doorstep.

We seriously loved it, its an amazing...

Stayed here with a group of friends. The rooms were clean. The staff were helpful and understood English. They are affordable but, like everything else in Nepal, you will need to bargain for a good price. Around 25$ for a 2 bed and $30 for a 3 bed. It's in Thamel which is the shopping hub and about 30min from...

Stayed here with a group of friends based on our "tour guide's" recommendation, as our previous hotel ( hotel shanker) was booked for the night. The staff was friendly but the rooms were terrible. One friends room had a hole in the shower. Another friend's room had mold. And our room had a broken toilet and a really cheap door....

This was my first trip to kathmandu and I was quite overwhelmed. I had a higher priced popular hotel booked but it didn't impress me compared to this place. I found it to be like my home away from home. The rooms are a good size the bed is comfortable also they have 24/7 hot water and air con. Other...

We stayed at the hotel several times during our stay in Nepal. The rooms are very clean, air conditioned, 24/7 electricity, amazing hot water with great pressure. The staff are very welcoming, they make you feel like family. Nothing is too much trouble. Pricing is very reasonable and affordable and they are happy to find something to suit your budget....
