We were delighted to find this quiet friendly guest house/hotel in central Thamel. We stayed 2 nights and had the best nights sleep ever in Kathmandu. Very quiet at night and very comfortable. Lovely garden and outdoor seating. Comfortable lobby with sofas and books and a very cute, friendly laid back dog in a sweater. Comfortable bed and soft pillows....

My friend and I stayed at Pilgrims Guest House both before and after our trek and it felt like a home away from home. The people there are so helpful and really make an effort to see that you're happy. My friend's luggage was lost (indefinitely) and they helped us communicate with the airport and airline and ultimately were invaluable...

Nice stay at Pilgrims Guest House. Nice and welcoming people. The room was a little bit cold, but it was ok with the blankets though. However the window and door of the bathroom didn't close. I will certainly recommend it!

We went for 3 nights on 3 different days and the rooms were clean. We had a warm shower which is quite Nice for the KTM december weather! The guest house is easy to access in the middle of thamel! And the reception is open later than most guest house we have been in! (Most close at 10pm) Definitely good!

Pilgrims Guest House had clean comfortable beds, hot showers and really helpful and nice staff. It has a pleasant garden retreat, perfect for a tea and a read. The staff were very helpful in assisting with taxis and connections. Pilgrims was an excellent base for exploring Kathmandu and a welcome oasis away from the streets.

Coming in off the street into the restaurant in the garden here at Pilgrims is always a pleasure. You can feel the 'busy-ness' of the street fall away and sitting in the garden enjoying your tea or a beer was one of the pleasures of staying here. We really like the restaurant manager, Sunny, and the staff does try hard....
