This is my fifth stay at the Ambassador Garden Home hotel. The staff are fabulous, the location is excellent and the rooms are charming. Located in the heart of Thamel it is a short walk to anywhere in this part of the city. The breakfasts are amazing in size and quality and coffee is great. I will be back here...

This was my second stay at the AGH and once again I loved it. The superior deluxe room is well worth the money after days of roughing it on the trek. TV, AC and even dvds to watch. Lots of little extras like a big book library, free wifi and bowls of sweets in the lobby. The hotel is in...

We stayed with the Ambassador Garden Hotel either side of a trek in the Himalayas, 3 nights in all, and found it to be a charming little place, full of character. The staff are courteous and welcoming without being pushy for e.g. tips. If you are going to stay in downtown Thamel, prepare for a noisy but lively environment and...

I stayed at the Ambassador GH for about week in January and over all, really liked it. Very convenient and central location in Thamel, with tons of restaurants, shops and bars just around it (which of course also means that it can be pretty noisy / however with the exception of a "disco night" in the nearby Katmandu GH, I...

Stayed a week while working in Kathmandu and found this hotel to be comfortable and well kept. 24hr power was a real plus as was the constant hot water. Wifi worked well in my room as well as lounge area, complementary water and beer in fridge was a nice touch. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. On...

We arrived Kathmandu Airport around 22:30 and had arranged the airport pick up service by Ambassador Garden Home while booking. A decent and comfortable Jeep, which could hardly find in other Kathmandu hotels, picked us up. It was excellent and certainly worth it. After arriving Ambassador Garden Home, there was security guard standing at the door gate and the lobby...

We stayed in AGH for 3 nights and enjoyed most of them, the hotel is in Thamel and the location is great! The hotel room was neat and the facility clean and carefully decorated. We stayed in a comfortable room and the bathroom was clean which is what we wanted. The only thing is that the bed was quite hard...

Rooms are clean and cosy. In fact, I would like to commend the cleanliness of the whole hotel, cheerful and very friendly staff. Peaceful and well maintained garden. There's wireless in room and TV with cable. Location is great, central, right smack in the middle of Thamel. Bars and excellent eateries close by (just right at the doorstep of AHG)...

We enjoyed our 3 night stay in February 2012 at this very comfortable boutique hotel smack in the middle of Thamel. We loved all the decoration and curios around the hotel. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable, although slightly small for a double room. The only negative was that plumbing wasn’t great (toilets needed several flushes) –...
