Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed at the Ariya as part of our tour package. Hotel was very nice. Room was so spacious and was like a suite. It was very clean and seemed well cared for. The hotel is located slightly outside of the downtown of Thimphu, but was a very quiet and we found it to be a fine location. The dining staff was so friendly and really went above and beyond to take care of us. Food was good, a lot of Indian influence, however all tasty food and very fresh. Spa was very nice. I got a massage during our stay and it was very relaxing and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend!

The Ariya is a nice, modern and comfortable Hotel that is located near Thimphu city center. Our small group tour had booked this Hotel for 2-nights which gives us enough time to explore the many scenic sites that Thimphu has to offer.
As can be seen in the photos, the standard room that we had was spacious, modern, comfortable and clean. Also, the bath was also spacious and clean with a large glass enclosed shower.
Highly recommend this Hotel while visiting Thimphu.

Our tour group spent 3 nights here. Our room, 308, was very large. Breakfasts were simple fare and not much selection. Dinners were buffets, but overall the food was okay. The young men that work in the dining room were super friendly. The hotel was practically a ghost town during our stay. We only saw one other couple. Great view of the Big Buddha from our room window. It’s lite up at night.

A very good Hotel though little away from the main busy areas. Rooms are spacious. In fact there are suits and rooms though there is not much difference in the tariff. It is worth staying in the suits.

Im really happy with the services and facilities of Ariya Hotel in Bhutab so i would like to give some reviews according to what i have experienced. I stayed on the 2nd floor, standard double room and its really peaceful and relaxing. The staffs were very nice and helpful. The spa and Sauna are my favourite part, it was really clean and comfortable. If i ever visited Bhutan again, i would come back to stay in Ariya Hotel.

All facilities are provided and the staff were very welcoming and kind. It's located right next to the first/only shopping mall in bhutan and the express high way. Superb view from the lounge especially at night. The room were very comfortable. Definitely one of the better hotels in Bhutan.

I must say its a very luxurious hotel to stay in. The rooms are veryyy spacious and cozy...

I was in suit room, though it had lack of good view.. but the room number 408 had the best view of all the 5 rooms we had. The room had allll kind of latest luxuries and facilities...

Once again the staff had happy smiling faces and warm hospitality.

The food... but i must also mention that in Bhutan, vegetarian people will face discomfort for food... but the staff at Ariya was very cooperative regarding the same.

Overall it was an amazing stay we had and once again we are goin to visit Ariya before we end our trip.
