Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We (a married couple) were given room no. 205 having 3 single beds and no space for movement. Badly worn out floor. Staff refused to change room. They refused to provide sugar sachet. Buffet breakfast was over before time. We had to change Hotel after One Night though we had booking for 2 nights. Staff arrogant and uncooperative.

The staff at the front desk and house keeping were very sweet and supportive. The room was good and comfortable. But the washroom was really small and congested. The morning bathroom chores were difficult in the tiny space !!!! And we were surprised that none of the washrooms in the hotel had faucets and it is difficult for Indians like us !!!!! The restaurant staff were however not professional as they never understood our food needs and kept serving us tinned sweets and juice !!!!!!

It’s a 4 year old hotel tho looks older. Despite the wear, the rooms were very cozy and all in all it was very nice. The staff bend over backwards to be accommodating. We were here in March and it was COLD. The rooms have space heaters but there is none in the bathroom. Owww cold! The food was good tho a bit greasy for my tastes. But then i think all food in this part of the world is greasy. Ask for it to be prepared with less oil and they will do it. Fabulous location tho! Recommended highly.

The location of this hotel is excellent - a very short walk to the city centre. The hotel is nice and our room was very nice - big and warm. Food was decent and the staff were lovely. The only hiccup we had was 3 phone calls from reception in the evening when we were sleeping, none of which were necessary.

Stayed for 1 night. Location excellent. Central. 5 min walk to traffic junction police, another 2 min to clock tower where there are many shops, cafes and restaurants. Good for those who wants to explore Thimphu on own after dinner. Room given to me was big. Living room, small kitchen and bedroom. Room is old and floor is creaky, but the space more than made up. Heater is powerful and room is very warm and comfy. Hot water reliable. TV with many channels. Hotel has lift. Save your legs for tiger nest and other climbs. Restaurant food is good. Other thing is they forgot about my dinner (I was only guest eating in) But they cook it quickly in 20 min with apologies. Summary: if you are not picky about room, and wants a centrally located and comfy enough hotel, this will be good choice.

Hotel is ok but little bit over priced. Location is ok and staff to be more active. Rest, it's clean and peaceful hotel.i recommend but with some negotiations. The location is within the main market area and near to few tourist attractions.

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms with a good view of the mountains. Centrally located within a few minutes from the main street. We stayed there for two nights and breakfast was included in the deal. However on the second day we were served just bread, butter, jam and cornflakes with milk. We are used to a proper breakfast and this meager breakfast left us in a bad state for the entire day. The dining room staff claimed that they had not been informed that we would be coming for breakfast. This was highly unprofessional and we felt cheated.
