My stay at Druk Hotel in Thimphu was amazing! The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of the city, making it super convenient to explore nearby attractions. The rooms have a charming, rustic feel, adding to the unique Bhutanese experience.
While I did encounter a small issue with the internet, the staff went above and beyond by offering their own phone hotspot so I could check my emails – truly exceptional service! Dinner at the hotel's "07th Restaurant" was a highlight, with delicious, authentic Bhutanese cuisine that I absolutely loved.
Overall, it was a fantastic stay, combining excellent service, great food, and a memorable atmosphere. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Thimphu!

Entering the hotel made me feel so cosy and comfortable. Rooms interior was up to mark. Bathroom was spic and spine. Quality of toiletries were superb . Staff was courteous and food quality of restaurant was awesome. Hotel is situated at the centre of city so everything around is at a walkable distance. View from the room is also very nice .

We visited the Druk Hotel for its famous Indian thali, which had options to choose from such as regular vegetarian, non-vegetarian, premium vegetarian, and non-vegetarian. The food was good, but the service could be improved. A special mention goes to the sales team who showed us around. Kinley Zangmo knew every detail about the hotel and rooms. The menu for the thali keeps changing, and our favorite that day was bhindi and chicken. The menu listed biryani, but we were served zeera pulao instead. When we informed the team, the chef promptly got us the biryani, which was excellent. They had the best naan we've tasted in Bhutan. I highly recommend this place for lunch, especially if you're craving Indian food in Bhutan! Tashi Delek.

Plum at the centre of Thimphu's happening district, Druk hotel had very friendly and helpful staff who were there whenever we needed them - be it to refill the drinking water or to take care of any minor issues we faced. The rooms were extremely comfortable and spacious. The restaurant staff was happy to guide us when we asked to eat some local cuisine the first night we arrived, and food was very tasty too. The location made it very easy for us to move around and explore some nice places on foot. Highly recommended if you have a stay in Thimphu

After the renovation, my first stay , but I was here before. The same standard and luxury, but in different colors. There is now an elevator.The hotel is right in the center of Thimphu, so most places are within a short walking distance. The rooms are clean, and very functional.Wi-fi was good and constant.I liked that they gave treated water instead of plastic bottles. Meals were in the (for me) new dining room, I could select whatever I wished and was served promptly.As in the past, there are rooms for meetings too, and we got to use the cafeteria, just right for our group(I met with several Bhutanese interested in TA, some post already). Money could be changed at the reception, and they said that credit cards were accepted but with a 2,5 % surcharge.

The Druk Hotel Thimphu is located in the heart of the city, with a superb location overlooking the public soccer field and the stunning mountains. The Druk Hotel Thimphu rooms are decorated in traditional Bhutanese style and the staff are very friendly. I was very comfortable while staying in this hotel.

The Druk Hotel is very nice and comfortable. The room is spacious with amenities such as security box, full array of toiletries and sweet treats at check in and in the evening. Their restaurant has an extensive menu of Indian, Asian and western food and a separate bar. It is central to shopping and the post office.
