I stayed at the Bhutan suites from late 2016 to mid 2017. I was there on business so I got to know everyone really well. The staff is very friendly and service oriented. The building has top notch finishes for the price. As is located above the hustle and bustle of downtown, it's peaceful and has great views from all suites. The in-house restaurant is very good.

This is a hotel, located bit away from the main market area. The major attraction is the large apartment like rooms with kitchen and separate sitting space. There is large balcony also with good view. Bathroom has bathtub and good toiletries. Staff are courteous and cooperative. Food is vegetarian but good. Highly recommended.

Our room was one bedroom corner apartment. You get your own kitchen and balcony as well. Bathroom is spacious with a shower and a bathtub. There was plenty of hot water. Beds are a bit hard and there is no air conditioning, which can be an issue depending on the time of the year you visit. We slept windows open, although windows had no insect screens. Flip side of keeping windows open is that you get non stop dog barking the whole night. For winter nights, there's a heather in bed room. Food in the restaurant was delicious and portions huge. There are no other restaurants nearby, so option is to walk down to town (30 min) or grab a taxi. Wifi service was off half of the time..

This was my first time to stay here....excellent rooms ...large size...small kitchen ....drawing room...with dining tables....in the middle of elite neighbourhood.....no noise pollution....pure vegetarian..(egg in the breakfast is an exception)...Nice food...cleanliness top class....Yu feel like you are in Europe....I was overwhelmed with the service....Thanks Sanjay Khanna for your recommendation....Best wishes to Bhutan suites and special Thanks to Radhika Ji...who made our stay memorable

This was included with our package for the base price. Large two rooms, nice staff. Limited food options. Our room had a balcony with a beautiful view. Staff was very sweet and kind. The nights were quite cool, the room had great heat.

One of the best hotels we stayed in. We were told this hotel used to be an apartment building so all the rooms are suites comprised of spacious living room with kitchenette and separate bedroom. The bathroom has nice toiletries and has both tub and shower. Everything was well appointed and there is also a heater in bedroom, which we used when weather turned a bit cold. Hotel is located away from center part of town, so we had a quiet nite's rest for three nites, despite some of the stray dogs which we barely heard. In the dining area, you walk out can get a good view of the mountains. This was the only hotel of the four we stayed at, where meals are not buffet style, which was a nice change. Big rooms with a living room and kitchenette. I liked having access to a sink in the living room and a refrigerator to store the fruit we bought at the market. Though not vegetarians, we enjoyed dinner at restaurant and had a satisfying meal.

Good start to the holiday in Bhutan as this was the first hotel we stayed in. Large rooms with a living room and a separate bedroom. Underfloor heating worked well and we had a comfortable large bed. Everything worked in the room and wifi wsa reasonably fast. Restaurant suited us as it was totally vegetarian with some interesting dishes too. Good choice of beer and, unlike other countries, all beers were the same price regardless of strength. The hotel is located in a quiet part of the city so it's a 15 minute walk uphill from the centre. Didn't bother us as we like to walk and had a guide and driver anyway.

Located strategically in core Thimphu town, this wonderful establishment provides the comfort and service of any renowned restaurant/hotel that I have visited. The cafeteria would be the highlight catering a wide array of snacks and beverages second to none! Although a vegetarian establishment, and considering I'm a staunch non-vegetarian, the quality and variety of snacks offered did not make me miss meat at all. Not to forget the cappuccinos and lattes! And free wifi for the kids! A must visit if you're ever in Thimphu, Bhutan!!!

Good simple hotel and entry in to the wonders of Bhutan. Good rooms, nice views, simple but good, really tasty food especially if you are vegetarian - nothing to recommend for carnivores in Bhutan given its vegetarian Buddhist existence. Staff friendly and attentive.
