My family and I just stayed here a couple of days ago and had a wonderful time. The hotel itself is roomy, clean, and well appointed for a three star hotel in Bhutan. The kitchen serves good Indian and Bhutanese food and is staffed by thoughtful and considerate people. Radika, the GM there, is immensely warm and welcoming and sees it as her duty for her and her staff to give you a pleasant stay. Her belief in her job and her staff translated into a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Bhutan Suites. If we were ever to return to Bhutan and to Thimpu, we would be sure to stay here.

The room was huge and excellent as expected. The staff was courteous and very helpful. It’s tremendous to see a hotel run mostly by women staff members. The only thing was that the dinner was not up-to the mark, even though the lunch and breakfast was of good quality. We also ordered an extra bed which was fragile which caused me and my mother to fall. Thankfully we did not suffer any injuries. The bed can accommodate a small person only.

Bhutan is an awesome place to visit. But there are very few places where you can stay with a lots of satisfaction. This is a good place to stay. The hospitality is great. I love the hospitality most there.

This is a beautiful, peaceful, spotless place at a reasonable price. It is a bit far from city center and other restaurants, about a 20 minute brisk walk, or hop a (cheap) cab. Restaurant is OK but I mostly ate out. They give discounts for volunteers which makes it an even better deal.

We were staying at the Bhutan Suites for two nights, 6th and 7th November, 2017. The suite consists of two rooms. Sitting with a well equipped kitchenette and a bedroom. the rooms are big, well appointed and very comfortable. Good view from the balcony. The buffet breakfast is sumptuous and any other preferences can be ordered. The staff is very helpful and courteous. The location of the hotel is on a hill leading to the famous monastery. A little away from the town centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Zubair Poonawalla

We were here on our first days in Bhutan, it is very good to get the rest and take good food. Maybe the bathrooms are not the best but as a matter of fact it is an average. The bad points are the towels that seems to be well washed but with a yellow water.

I stayed in a nice 1BHK apartment. It was on the 2nd Floor and the views of the mountains were amazing. The rooms are nicely furnished. good sized bathroom. The views from the restaurant cum coffee shop are also very good and all glass windows adds to the charm. You could spend hours here reading a book and sipping coffee. This is about 1.5 kms from the norzin Lam/Clock tower. You could easily walk to norzin lam as it is a descent. But going back to aptt could be a task due to the steep roads. However, You could easily find a cab that takes you to the aptt for 80 rs. There is some room for improvement though. The food needs to be better. The gas in the aptt is available on advance request. Perhaps we had been spoiled by the accommodations we had outside of Thimpu, but we did find this hotel a bit down at the heels. The suites are very large, so that was nice, and we liked having a refrigerator. Shower head was broken, lighting was weak. We think they must have had new staff on the breakfast shift because it was fairly chaotic. As a result, I can't comment on the dinner as we went elsewhere. As others have mentioned, you need a car to get into town. We passed our comments on at the time so my guess is that they will have improved. Lovely to have an elevator!
