Was put up here by my agent for 2 nights. The rooms are spacious and airy and the beds are comfortable. Staff always have a smile and very helpful. The food was not elaborate but was good and when I requested for some Bhutanese dish they happily obliged. They serve a nice spread of Indian food. Everything is close by and a walking distance to the main market area.

If you respect your identity, don't go there! These people will abuse you and treat you like a dog; especially IF YOU ARE AN INDIAN. We went to this place during our College Tour from Kerala; a group of 34, of which 30 were students. We stayed there for 2 days. There was no complimentary breakfast for the stay. So we pre ordered breakfast for all of us. They told it would be total Rs.100 per head. Since we are college students we were very strict with our budget. At the last day morning as we were about to check out, they gave us a bill with 20% more amount charged as tax (Rs.40 extra for 2 days). Which for us students were not a throw away money. So we asked the receptionist about how this came as extra from the promised rate. She said that is how it is, she cant do anything, she can connect us to her accountant by phone. As she handed over the phone to us after briefing the situation, the man started shouting at us over phone without listening anything I said. At last, after I begged him to listen he cut the phone and came from the room behind the reception(he was hiding there all the time). Then he started threatening us as if we had some theft, saying either you pay or he'll call the police. Then hearing his loud sound, my friends who had boarded the bus outside came in to see what was happening. He then heard us discussing in malayalam. As we were trying to convince him that we were students and we didnt have that much extra money(Rs.1360) extra, so please give concession, he started to shout at us without propoerly hearing our side. And he called us "Patti P**rimone"(one of the worst abuses in Malayalam which means "dog your mom's c*nt"). We were all shocked. He told us that he had been to Kerala and he knows our abuses, don't try to play with him.
Hearing this we were so much pissed off and all our mood to start the day was gone. We did'nt want to spoil our mood further, so our tour operator paid the money from their side and left the place. NEVER EVER GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU WANT PLEASANT STAY! THE HOTEL MANAGEMENT HATES INDIANS WHICH WE LATER FOUND OUT FROM OTHER REVIEWS ONLINE.

The hotel is situated less than a km away from the Clock Tower and main market and you can literally walk everywhere from here. The rooms are okay for the price you pay, but there is no great view from the balcony/windows. My room's window had another building at shaking hand distance. Another negative is the dogs keep barking thru the night, but that's typical of Thimphu and Paro and you will face this problem everywhere.
The hotel staff was amazing, polite and helpful. They went out of their way to keep our expensive rented cycles safely inside the hotel at night. The chef, though a Bhutanese, cooks great Indian food. I particularly liked the Aloo Parathas he made at breakfast.

We visited Thimpu in in mid-August 2018. Though it's the rainy season, Thimpu was Sunny and hot. We checked into Kenny and surprised to find the rooms had no ventilation absolutely. There were no fans too!! Rooms are spacious. The only window is in the toilet which overlooks the next building. For getting some air, one needs to open the toilet window and not close the door :( Food is nothing great. Hotel is close to the Taj Tashi and shopping area.

we directly correspond with the hotel owner trough email, and ‘breakfast included’ was written in our confirmation mail. Even though the staffs got confused and twice we had show them the mail. So it’s better you clear the breakfast issue with the owner before confirmation. Sry for late reply.
