We arrived from Nairobi for a start of Uganda tour and stayed two nights on 25th June and 4th of July. Cassia lodge is in a quiet locality with a great view of Lake Victoria. The rooms and the bathrooms are good with standard facilities. The pool is very good and clean. The restaurant is above the reception with a...

This was a relaxing place to recover from jet lag and begin our travels through Uganda. We had a lovely dinner outdoors, under the stars with a view of Murchison Bay. The room was comfortable. This is a great place to stay when in Kampala.

We only stayed one night at this hotel it is not one that is memorable but passable. Not sure why it's called a lodge. Reception welcome was luke warm, room was dismal and had poor lighting. Restaurant so dark I had to go outside to read menu and meal was bland. Wouldn't return.

Staying 6 weeks in Uganda this time with a teenager. Went to Speke Resort to swim first, but that was way too expensive! Cassia lodge is a very good alternative and much cheaper. Staff at pool is very friendly. Serving of drinks/food at the pool could improve though. Had to go to the reception desk myself, after 3 hours, to...

We started our trip in Uganda with Prime Safaris at this lodge after arriving in entebbe. The views are lovely and the restaurant was great. Rooms are comfortable and perfect if looking for a hotel away from the busy city. The hotel is a little older looking but clean.

We chose this hotel as bookended rest days before and after a hectic 2 week tour of the main Ugandan national parks. Cassia is not the easiest of overnight accommodations to access when you fly into Entebbe but its commanding position just south of Kampala, overlooking Lake Victoria, is a memorable stopover. Not only are you then on the outskirts...

My clients and I had planned to stay in Kampala three nights and finally we stayed more because of the view and the atmosphere. The place was so relaxing, the service very friendly and kind and the room was excellent, plus perfectly clean. The bathroom was basic but perfectly fine for us. All the windows had mosquito net which allow...

First overnight stop in Uganda where we arrived after midnight and then left the lodge at 9am so didnt have much time here. The room was adequate but was very dated. We are used to travelling in Africa so never expect too much but after some of our other lodges we stayed at this was probably the most tired but...

Over the years of staying in Uganda, Cassia lodge has truly become a home away from home. Cassia Lodge is located on the outskirts of Kampala, and it will take approximately 15 to 20 minutes to reach the center of the town, depending on the traffic. The location and the view from this hotel are a real stress reliever. The...

Brilliant location, comfortable beds, nice rooms, mediocre wifi, friendly staff, but slow service (they should, however, all aspire to Medard's standard), good food (but breakfast a big disappointment), too many non-guests at the pool, impressive cleaning ladies. All in all pleased, but has tremendous potential.

We would like to thank our dear client for appreciating the unique location, the rooms, the beds, the pool, the staff and the cleaning servivce. Our apologies for the delay in the service. Not that our waiters are lazy, only that Cassia is sometimes overcrowded. Especially during the weekends, when many neighbours come to swim. Like its the case in...
