Was booked there. The moment I arrived, late in the evening, I could see I was not going to like it! Music in the restaurant, just close to reception, was too loud. The hotel is old and in disrepair, with lots of smelly carpets. My room was terrible, old, smelly and I am not sure if the sheets were clean....

I stayed here for three nights while on business. Just the kind of hotel that you lack words to define as it lacks clear identity you. Old facility from colonial period that is trying to meet the modern trends. Loud band playing till almost midnight attracts entertainment lovers but also upsets residents who want to catch an early sleep. Business...

i attended a dinner/business presentation and experienced both its conference/business room and eating facilities. i must say the design of the wood panelling did catch my eye in the meeting room but the seating and facilities were very basic. the staircase to the upstairs dining area was carpeted but the had these wooden strips nailed into the steps which jutted...

It is in many ways a charming hotel. 30 years ago.... Now its a bit faded. A tired shower that woould need thorough cleaning so the water would pass. A bed that sighed and moaned everytime I tried to change sleeping position. A breakfast buffet with watery fruit and tasteless eggs. Staff that took their time of walking around and...

We found the staff to be very welcoming and hospitable and the room very clean. One problem however was the lack of air conditioning and the lack of screens on the windows and mosquito netting over the bed. Arriving there at the onset of the rainy season we were concerned about mosquitos and didn't open the windows. Was very hot...

I read negative reviews with surprise. The hotel has a great location, decent food, friendly staff and live music every night. Breakfast is decent and in an open terrace, banks and shops are in the premises and so gym and pool. It is old of course but it has charm. Rooms needs some refurbishing but please without taking away the...

The good thing about the hotel is the location. It's easily accessible. The hall we used-Didi- was also perfect. Spacious enough for our guests. The food was plenty and enough for all who showed up. The challenge is the AC system. Please get this fixed. Having a carpet which is not clean and having more than 100 people in a...

We held our wedding reception in this hotel. Overall experience was okay. Food was great and our guests had a lot of fun. However they needed to work on the AC system as it was super hot in the Didi hall.

This should be a 'grand' hotel, but sadly has lost its way. The place has great potential, but very poor management has left it outdated with very poor customer service.
