I spent a week here on business, working from the hotel much of the time, receiving contacts in the restaurant and enjoying the atmosphere, the food and the friendly staff. The rooms were clean and the balcony and coffee-maker were welcome. The impeccably clean pool added to the leisurely atmosphere. The only downside was returning problems with the wi-fi. I...

I stayed here for 2 nights on business trip to Kampala. The room (one of the new ones) is very spacious, clean and has comfortable bed and shower. All was working properly. The room overlooks the swimming pool and garden area. A small drawback is that the room is located on top of the restaurant area, particularly the wood-heated pizza...

I stayed for two nights at Urban by CityBlue in October 2014. My room was in the old portion of the hotel, attached to the reception and just above the dining room. It was extremely spacious for a twin, with more storage space than I probably have at home. The bathroom was also spacious, with a rainwater shower and a...

We have always loved Mamba Point for its delicious food and impeccable service. So when we heard that they are now part of this spanking new hotel CityBlue, we had to check it out! Loved the poolside seating of the restaurant...however must be uncomfortable for hotel guests to swim with so many eyes on you :-( The pizzas are as...

Had lunch with my colleagues, checked out the rooms, ranging from 130 USD, they are very good, clean, neat, serene! Good service. The food cuisine is yummy, they serve Chinese and intercontinental. With a moderate swimming pool and wifi in the rooms. I would like to recommend it to others.

I stayed at CityBlue (formerly Mamba Point) right as it was transitioning to new ownership in April 2014. It's has a small guesthouse feel and all the rooms (an older wing of 6 rooms and a brand new wing of 5 new rooms) open up into a cozy courtyard with a nice pool. It's in a nice part of town...

I have booked this hotel for our executives they were traveling to Kampala for business. It is a bit expensive but they liked it and is cheaper than the big hotel chains. In Kampala there is not a lot of competition. The rooms are clean and according western standard , good location. They will come back whenever they are travelling...

My family was working on an adoption in Kampala and we had to stay a lot longer than planned. The staff was exceptional in assisting us with our needs and helping with off site purchases. While the old section is a great value, the newer rooms have large areas and great views. It is worth every dollar you pay!! The...
