I stopped in this hotel for a cup of coffee, and hopefully decent breakfast. a small hotel lobby but you can immediately notice the elegance, and how grand it must have been in the past. the restaurant menu doesn't say much. You wouldn't know their full menu until you ask the restaurant attendant for more details. I ordered omelette breakfast...

Highly recommended hotel in Khartoum - very centrally located and reasonably priced. Elegantly decorated and designed hotel rooms well furnished and spacious. Breakfast is included in the room package. A wide ranging choice of breakfast is served in buffet. Entrance provides a good reception to visitors and residents. Staff is very friendly and smiley. Ambience is good. I strongly recommend...

There is good news, and bad news so dont stop reading till you read whats good about it. I went to this hotel on a workshop trip along with a couple of friends. It was so cool that it was conviniently located. Middle of the city's downtown. The first thing i noticed about the hotel, when i set foot in...

I stayed for two weeks. It was not a good experience. Hotel is not well cleaned. Breakfeast doesn't offer a large choice. Credit cards are not accepted. You have to pay cash and in USD. Only good point is the location of the hotel in downtown.

Local type, good service, with a few sub-quality aspects: food was quite common, cooling system noisy, carpets tired, etc. But the service was good. As opposed to a palace, this hotel has the merit to have a certain local style to it.

I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights during march 2014. The first impression that I got once entering the room was that it was quite dirty. Stained walls, stained chairs, stained carpet and most of all DUST. The room was very dusty, to the extent that my hands got dirty after using the phone and the tv remote. The...

I stay here regularly for business, one or two nights and have to say it is a good base, well located just 10 minutes from the airport. I agree with other posters that the hotel is dated and can be a little dirty in places, but staff are helpful and the turkish coffee is fantastic! Wifi in lobby and on...

We were booked into this hotel by our travel agent and stayed 3 nights there. The hotel is quite old and it is visible in everything (lobby environment, room furniture, bathrooms). However, once you get past this point - it is a decent and comfortable place to stay in Khartoum. They have both wi fi and cable internet (for free),...

“Choose a room opposite the streets side.”
127Fred, 28 May 2014 | Read review
“Avoid rooms with street view. There's not much of a view(construction site) and it gets very noisy in the morning. Avoid room 216, I was staying at that room and I hope not all rooms are like. The A/C had no thermostat, only high-medium and low buttons (kinda 1980's style), so if you tend to get cold easily, take a sweatshirt or accept the heat because Khartoum is quite warm.”
