My mom and I came on business for a week and this maison d'Hôtes was absolutely great. The manager Sabin was extremely welcoming and the ladies that clean the house, Marie and Henriette, were so nice. The house is really nice, well decorated with authentic African art, warm, clean and very well located. The breakfast was terrific, better than any...

Our family of four spent five nights at the Seneganne in mid-July, followed by two more unexpected nights there at the end of July when we had flight trouble. It says it all that our 18 year son said that "returning to the Seneganne is like returning home". From the time we were picked up at the airport until we...

The breakfast was terrific as was the service.. The hotel is a calm oasis from the hustle and bustle of Dakar. The Meknes room was large enough that the 4 of us could spend some private time together. The upstairs lounge was inviting and comfortable. Spacious rooms with lots of storage apace. Everything in the place was spotless.

We spent three nights here during a short vacation in Senegal and just loved it. The house is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable. We felt as though we were guests in a lovely home. Everything at Seneganne was just perfect, and a lot of good places (beaches, restaurants)...

I stayed here as a solo female traveller and had many apprehensions about the city and the b&b as there wasn't much to choose from, particularly not from a decent price range. But this B&B exceeded my expectations by far. It felt like being in a very nice and cosy home, large rooms, tasty breakfast and great service. Keep in...

Seneg'anne is lovely. I spent three nights there during a recent visit to Senegal. The ambiance is soothing and lovely and everything is spotlessly clean. The rooms are attractive and comfortable. The breakfast was ample -- with many good choices. I was made to feel welcome by the owner and her staff. A wonderful stay and a surprising value.

We recently moved to Dakar and whilst waiting for our apartment to become available we stayed in Seneg'anne. This B&B is the perfect start in and introduction to Dakar. Not only are the rooms, pool and common areas clean and welcoming, but the people working and meeting there are special. Anne and her team are welcoming, accommodating and always available...

I am just coming to the end of a 3 weeks stay at Seneg'anne and I am sad to leave. My husband and I have just moved to Dakar where he will be working and we have been staying at Seneg'anne whilst trying to find a home. You only need to go on the website to see how lovely the...

I was working in Dakar for one week and have read awful reviews of ALL the major chain hotels. The company i was working for booked me into this place. It is run by a Dutch lady who employs a french lady to cater for the breakfast and a couple of local people for the cleaning. There is a pool...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Welcome at the Sénég'anne, our guest house! It's a pleasure for me to welcome you in a beautiful white villa, where it is enjoyable to stay. Sénég'anne propose you all the comfort of a well decorated guesthouse, in the Almadies, a green and quiet neighbourhood of Dakar. Here, you'll find Art pieces, and souvenirs from all over Africa. The house, with its modern architecture is really bright and offers a lot of space; it's probably the ideal place to stay with its library and swimming pool. ... more   less
