Chelsea Central Hotel cannot be rated as a whole, because it’s really a mix of extremes in good and bad. For the good part: - Some of the staff, at all levels (reception, conferencing, catering) were extremely friendly and helpful. Special note for one of the (lean) barmen, for the lady at the entrance of the restaurant and for a...

Have stayed at the Chelsea a couple of times; mind you the first time was a disaster...stayed in a room above the bar on a Friday evening (early flight the next morning) and didn't the band just go on and on. The rooms are big, the bed comfortable, but that's about it...its old and due for a makeover. if you...

It was a decent experience, the food at the poolside bar was nice. Check-in was however slow as they had to confirm if the reservation was made at their sister hotel. This just took too much time to sort out. I didn't like that the AC was so noisy. Will i be returning? Possibly.

Wow, what a dump. Slow internet, foul rooms, slow service I am just not sure why this hotel is ranked as highly as it is. But perhaps there are worse hotels in town. Just don't stay in them. Go to one of those 35 higher ranked hotels. Just not here...

Whilst Abuja is not known for its excellent hotels, the Chelsea Hotel in the Central Business Area is a very low point. I have stayed in many hotels in Abuja in the line of my work. However no matter how rough and ready some of the hotels are, the staff has generally been warm and welcoming, with the warmth and...

I stayed here for one night and it was one night too many! First of all I checked in and was given a room which had a bed that was harder than the floor, the Internet did not work and it was very near the generator which was extremely loud. They moved me no problem however the bed in the...

It is the closest hotel to Hilton. Not bad. Just shower is warm only sometimes. Nigeria has problem with electricity. So there can be small blackout several times a day. Breakfast is rich if they add the food to the containers. Bad instant coffee.

Very comfortable hotel, not a big one, but has everything you need to have a great stay in Abuja in a safe place. Swimming pool, tennis court, pool bar, inside bar, high security. Rooms are clean and accurate. Fast internet and great coverage in all hotel. Food is ok, breakfast has mostly local food, but that's a good food. Prices...

I was planning to stay in Abuja for about 2 weeks and had booked in advance. I decided to check out a couple of days into my stay. Overall, it is one of the more expensive options in the city and simply not worth the price. The wi-fi has weird restrictions (only one device per room), is extremely slow and...

Reading some of the negative reviews I'm not sure what people expect!! It is clean, well staffed, friendly and looked after our group of 13 Rotarians well. Breakfast buffet had a nice mix of Nigerian and western foods. Note that hot water needs to be turned on in the room, my first shower was cold then figured it out :)
