Small hotel, very old and poorly maintained. We were in a family room. Rooms were good size, beds were comfortable. Room furniture was old and mostly broken. Night table built into the wall was falling off. Bed lamps were broken. TV worked but the hotel did not pay it's cable bill, so there were no channels. Carpets very dirty throughout...

This was not very centrally located especially on a sleepy Sunday and the staff bit sleepy too.... Booked my bond for example and took some hassling to recover. Rooms are basic... bathroom tiny and toilet requires jumping onto. Needs to a spruce up. Room service ok. I am not sure why my tour group booked us in here opposed to...

Great service everyone was very friendly. The food was excellent. Save parking and close to everything you need. The room was very comfortable and we had free internet in the room. Everything was very clean. And the air-conditioning helped a lot.

I booked this hotel for purpose of a weekend trip. First of all the hotel is located in a questionable part of town, in fact the area seems unsafe. The hotel is run down, the carpets are dirty and the rooms are very small and generally not very clean. The staff was very accommodating in trying to find me a...

This place is old, rooms are big but bed isn't so comfy, aircon isn't effective cause it's on the other end of the room, bathroom didn't have a shower, the bath shower combos shower head is right at the bottom...

Met our needs, in that we just wanted to get in a hotel for the night to get out to the airport. Not much to brag or complain about. The rooms are small, yet the tubs have very hot water. Staff lacks a sense of urgency. Breakfast was very good. This is clearly a businessman's hotel. We did find the...

This hotel is run down! I am surprised that the Protea chain allows this venue to represent their brand! It is very tired and desperately in need of refurbishing. Poor attentive staff, dirty carpets, dilapidated lifts. This list goes on. The location is quite suitable which is its only redeeming feature.

The Thuringerhof is in central Windhoek town. The room was clean and all the basics were provided. A limited TV channel offering and small bathroom. Breakfast very basic and limited choice particularly if you are gluten intolerant. Some staff friendly and some less so. Expensive for what you get but Windhoek is expensive. The standard of this hotel is not...
