We have been staying at the Olive Groove guest house for the second time now and we enjoyed it very much. Lovely spacious rooms, very clean, nice pool, excellent breakfast and delicious food. Not expensive for what you get. Very helpfull staff. Absolutely a nice place to stay!

We stayed at Olive Grove just for a night on our way to a safari. The place was clean and user friendly. The room was a bit cramped with no seating space except the bed. The breakfast was good. If using a taxi to go to a restaurant, make sure to clarify the fare prior to your journey.

We stayed here for a night after flying in to windhoek, before getting on the road, and it was perfect for the stopover. Lovely rooms, extremely helpful staff who immediately offered to book us somewhere for dinner (and organised taxis as the hotel is in a residential area, so not in walking distance of most things), and port and chocolates...

This stay was for the first night of our holiday in Namibia after long flights from the UK. The hotel is well located after arrival from the airport and our directions from Imagine Africa were better than our satnav so It is easy to find. The food and welcome were very good. The hotel though needs to be refurbished. The...

I had lunch here with two friends and it was very good and the price, like most places in Windhoek was very reasonably priced. The food is excellent and the burger I had was presented in rather trendy way but was delicious. Obvious the kitchen takes pride in the quality of it's food. Very good experience.

Lovely place to stay for a bit of luxury after camping. Excellent friendly and helpful staff. Luxurious en-suite bathroom, comfy bed. Loved the little touches - homemade cookies in the room, port and chocolate delivered before bed. Would recommend.

We went for a one only night... the last before leaving Windhoek and after trip to Etosha. The Room reservation said double ou twin, but we never thought that the beds were in concrete 'cases' so they cannot be joined. There goes our romantic last night together, but, we have so many other ways to have fun... the trouble was...

Stayed here on our first night of our four week adventure. It is about 30/40 minutes from the airport in a quiet location. Our room was fine, with enough space for us to rearrange our luggage into travel friendly mode. The staff were very pleasant and we decided to have our evening meal here, which was a great facility as we...

Stayed at this charming guesthouse on our last day of a great tour of Namibia. Location is good as it is in the NE so easy access to international airport. Very good service and advice, pleasant cool rooms although the A/C was so so. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Security is an issue in the area but we felt...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Olive Grove is a small upmarket accommodation establishment situated close to the city center in a quiet, peaceful area. The guesthouse takes homely atmosphere to a different level. Recently completely refurbished, each room has been decorated and painted with new colour schemes allowing a different feel, but with the same elegant and simplistic emphasis on decor. The open-plan kitchen allows guests to see how meals are prepared, while they enjoy a drink in the lounge. The menu was also reinvented and is now fully a la carte, quite unique for a guesthouse. Home-style food is rounded off with great presentation, pushing up the level of the guesthouse dining experience. Whilst each of the eleven rooms and one suite cater for every need of the most discerning traveller, the emphasis remains one of simplicity and elegance. ... more   less
