The hospitality( Accommodation) side could do with a big revamp and upgrade., it is way too rustic and not that comfortable. The restaurant is nonetheless very good and the staff are incredible....nothing was too much trouble. The issue with Na'an Ku se is however not about the accoms( but yes they really do need to be upgraded) but more about...

I would recommend this place over and over again for the rest of my life. I only managed to stay here one night as I was a volunteer of N/a'an Ku Se Sanctuary, however if you do not want to get your hands dirty with the animals day and night, this is your best option. The staff go out of...

3rd visit and gets better every time. The owners and staff just love their jobs and show that when talking to lodge clients. Please visit and promise you will not be disappointed. The blind the scenes tour with founder Marlice not to be missed

We spend the last 2 nights before our departure here and it was a great way to end our 3 week trip. By far the highlight was the Cheetah walk, which was truly a unique experience! We stayed in one of the Villas and had an amazing time there. As there was a waterhole in sight from the veranda, we...

Wauw, truly amazing. Everything in the lodges is environmental friendly. Great attention for detail. They ran out of water one morning but that's what you get when you're in the middle of nowhere. ---

Namibia is an amazing destination, nature and wildlife all over. If staying near Windhoek but wat to experience real nature, this is a great place to go. It has most of the amenities of a modern hotel (houses spread around the field with not luxurious but excellent accomodation) and you can wake up and see the monkeys walk around your...

We spent only one night here (would have loved more). What a fantastic place! We have traveled a lot in Africa and were very impressed with how this place has combined luxury, tradition, modern, and traditional. Great food --beautiful views. But --the primary reason to go is for the wildlife. We did the cheetah walk --highlight of our 3 weeks...

The concept of this reserve is great and we enjoyed our welcome at the main house. Unfortunately, the villa we stayed in (Villa Tsuu) was dissapointing. At first glance it looked very impressive, with huge ceilings and a great view of the wildlife, as we were located a few kilometres away from the main house. When we settled in we...

This lodge does offer fantastic rooms and houses. Very nice interiors. I was really surprised to see that a couple from a lodge in the Caprivi are now employed here. I have known them for years and can rightly say that they have always been the perfect hosts. I believe that Johan and Stephanie will be great here as well...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The N/a’an ku se Lodge & Wildlife Sanctuary is near the Airport and central Windhoek, on a 3.200 hectare big reserve. We offer Carnivore Feeding Tours, Bushman stories and stargazing dinners, Cheetah experiences and a “Behind the Scenes with Marlice” tour. Choose to stay in one of our six individual chalets or one of our eight exclusive holiday homes. We offer a dining area with award-winning cuisine, stunning views, bar and swimming pool. A delightful blend of rich ethnicity and modern luxury. The N/a’an ku se Lodge is the only Charity Lodge in Namibia, all profits from our lodge are returned back to our charitable projects. N/a’an ku se supports the local San community and activities are led by the local San. Volunteers looking to help with conservation can join the Volunteer Program offered on the N/a’an ku se Wildlife Sanctuary. The program offers volunteers the rare and exciting opportunity to work closely with and actively participate in the conservation of African wildlife. Volunteers can stay from 2 weeks to 3 months and will have the unique experience to care for our wildlife including a number of lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, caracals and baboons and many more, kept at the Sanctuary because they can unfortunately not be released into the wild again. Both experiences will leave you with great memories of Namibia while aiding in our conservation efforts which better the lives of the local San Bushmen and our animals. The N/a’an ku se Lodge & Wildlife Sanctuary is the ideal place to stay at the beginning or the end of your journey through Namibia. ... more   less
