This is a standard motel style establishment that benefits from its proximity to the central business district of Windhoek. It is clean, functional, has secure parking and an adequate breakfast is included in the price. There is really nothing remarkable about Steiner and the room tariff reflects that. The rooms are just about big enough, the TV service is a...

This pension is very well situated in the heart of Windoeck. Rooms are cleaned but very hot. Services are ok except that the people at the reception are really not friendly. If you need nothing you can ask..

Not only it is in the center of Windhoek, everything is in walking distance, but also it's a very nice and comfortable place to stay. The garden with the pool is unique and also the friendly and helpful staff is really outstanding. I had my husband sick as we arrived there and I don't know what I would have done...

Hotel Pension Steiner was recommended to us by a family friend who has been to Windhoek quite a few times, however, the not all the reviews on Trip Advisor looked fantastic, so we didn't really know what to expect when we got there. We needn't have worried though because it was perfect for what we needed. Its central location meant...

Have no idea about the quality of similar hostelry in Windhoek for sake of comparison, only that the Steiner is located a short walk from the center and all conveniences and amenities of this city. The facility is comprised of a secure compound with the rooms laid out in a manner ensuring quiet and negligible street noise. In room 16,...

Small Hotel next to town center with a nice garden and a swimming pool. A place to relaxe and to take part at the night life of WINDHOEK. Everything is easy to reach and the staff of the Hotel will help you all the time. You feel like in a family if you want and you have the peace if...

The only good things this hotel has going for it are the location (a 3 minute walk from the main street) and the staff. In all other respects it is not good: the walls are paper-thin; the only bathroom supply was an unwrapped bar of soap; some of the lights in the room did not work, nor did the heat;...

Arriving in Namibia for the first night, and leaving Namibia on our last night, we had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Pension Steiner. Very conveniently located in the center of town, it is quite a surprise to see a tropical garden and swimming pool. The rooms are well-equipped and spacious, however not to be called cozy. Staff is friendly...

No improvement to 4 years ago. Reception staff not helpful and not cooperative. Unsafe location near centre of town, Taxi needed (recommended by management for safety reasons) to get to and from near by restaurents. Some of the rooms extremely small, loud, many guests and cars leave very early in the morning. The garden is a little oasis!

everything was fine and I felt very secure. Car parking available in inner courtyard. Beds were hard but ok. Separate toilet from shower and washbasin. TV had three German stations and three English stations. Safe available. Breakfast ample with German delicacies. Staff very helpful with individual city maps. Excellent location with safe surroundings. Try the Kentucky Fried Chicken across the...
