Hotel Pension Steiner is located greatly in the heart of Windhoek with almost everything you might need in walking distance... but that’s about it. Rooms are big enough but furnished in the 70s, beds are small (even for me with only 180 cm), no aircon (which Id don't need anyway but others might) and internet is a really mess... The...

We spent 2 nights here to recover from a long flight. The staff are very friendly ,the rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast is more than adequate. Very centrally located and an excellent spot for a couple of nights.

The guesthouse is in a prime location within easy walking distance of the heart of town. A convenient filling station, a shopping centre & the fresh fruit market are within a stone's throw. Parking is secure & the garden nicely done. Our room for 2 nights was very spacious with double bed, night stands, a table, chairs, a fridge, a...

The Guesthouse seems to be a bit from another time, with employees wearing aprons and white bonnets and bibles on the bedside cabinet... But it is confortable, clean, has a nice garden with pool and very helpfull and friendly staff. Great location in the middle of town. WiFi only picks up sometimes in the garden, only very bad, if at...

Pension Steiner was Ok in the morning, but as the heating in the very basic rooms wasn't working we spent the night in our sleeping bags with woolen hats on. Not what you look for after a very long flight. Management wasn't receptive to this problem.

Stayed at Pension Steiner before a three weeks self driven/camping through Namibia. Loved the convenient location of the pension, the service and the quiet environment. The staff was very cordial and helpful the room clean, with basic services, good enough for this kind of travel. Breakfast is included in the price and the garden offers a comfortable place where to...

Before my tour of Namibia started, I spent a few days at the Hotel Pension Steiner in Windhoek. My room was clean and comfortable and I felt safe. I enjoyed the breakfast on offer. Due to the close proximity of the hotel to the city centre, I was able to walk to town but only during daylight hours. After dark...

We stayed as a family at the beginning and end of our self drive safari in September. Although we felt safe, and reasonably clean, the rooms made me feel like I was at a hostel from my 20s. We paid approx. $100 a night for a basic room with 4 single beds (it actually had 5). The front desk was...

The rest of my party left and 20 minutes later, at 03h15, someone tried to open my door. This with a security guard 10 metres away? It's in a very noisy location so not much sleep for guests. The shower sprays more water onto the ceiling than downwards and reception stinks of old cigarettes and dirty ashtrays. Possibly my most...

The great advantage of this hostel is its central location. Right in the center but in a quiet street, with a beautiful garden and pool and a secure parking. The welcome is friendly and you will be helped to the best of ability. They are willingly to book a restaurant for you, call a cab, ... They will even try...
