We stayed at Maison Ambre for one night on our arrival in Namibia and two nights before we left. We were warmly welcomed and the room was extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped with drinks in fridge, air conditioning, fan, safe and large shower All staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast is plentiful with endless...

A lovely B&B property that offered great service. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Andrea and Beate made us feel very welcomed. One area for improvement s the wifi, which could be better. Good restaurants and grocery store are within walking distance, and the craft market is only a 5/10 minute cab drive away.

We stayed here on the evening we landed in Windhoek. We were a little late arriving which seemed no problem to the staff who were very welcoming and helpful. The room was well appointed and had a fridge and a safe and lots of space. There were power points available and I was able to recharge all my gadgets. There...

My husband and I spent two nights at this guesthouse. The fresh fruit salad on the breakfast platter was great and there was a variety of cereals and breads, meats and cheese. A bacon/egg/sausage choice was available and bottomless cups of coffee. Our room was huge with its own kitchenette and lounge area. The unit was spotless and the staff...

I stayed in a room on ground level near the back. When I opened the door, the unpleasant smell was overpowering--I'm not sure what it was, but it did not go away, even with the door and windows open. The room also had a really odd layout--it felt like staying in someone's basement. That said, the owners were accommodating and...

Dear Sir, thank you for your response on Trip Advisor. I would like to report back that during the time of your stay we did have some sewerage blockages. Although we called in the experts that cleaned our pipes inside the yard, we found that the smell just would not go away. After a few angry phone calls to the...

We booked last minute at the guesthouse for a two night stay. The Guesthouse is neat and professionally run by owner Beate. The rooms are large with good mattresses. The bathrooms have a shower with good water pressure. Breakfast buffet has a large selection of cheeses and cold meats. Hot breakfast is served on request at no extra charge. We...

This guesthouse is a little awkwardly located for persons without a car but if you're in to walking and have cash (no credit cards) it's one of the closest guest houses to downtown that's at a reasonable price. The owners are often absent but the managers in their absence were helpful. Rooms are on the small side and there was...

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful, and made sure we were happy and comfortable from the get go. The accommodation consisted of a bedroom, kitchen, and living room. It was clean and clearly spacious. Good value. The breakfast spread was varied and hit the spot.

We stayed here four days. The staff are so helpful. We decided that a vehicle was necessary and they checked around and provided useful information that allowed me to get a pickup truck that was just perfect. The city of Windhoek lies within 2 Km and we found it walkable. Closer, is a commercial area with two grocery stores, several...

My room was very pleasant and with good air conditioning which is rare in this price range. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and the shower was very pleasant. There were some toiletries supplied. Also fresh milk, teabags and a reasonably priced minibar. However it's a shame there wasn't much of a seating area in the room, most places I stayed...
