Our 2 week tour of Namibia's had come to an end, the last hotel before going home after an unforgettable trip. The last hotel north of Windhoek to get organized, to unback the cars our home for 2 weeks, to back our backs, the rooms were beautiful like what I imagine an African design big rooms beautiful bathrooms lots of... Forget about the advertised Lion feeding (they lost their licence) and the crocodiles (they have moved on). Ignore the pictures of the rhinos on the website, there are none. This is a sad place. The management don’t care; the staff are apathetic and cooking is the worst we had in Africa (re-heated and/or out of the deep freeze). We had... More

Worst experience ever in Southern Africa in over 20 yrs travelling. Never met such an unfriendly management and (partly) staff. Never a single 'welcome', 'how do you do' or 'did you enjoy your stay'. We were looking forward to our nicely decorated african room with a view on the meadow, Yet we were summoned to 'Follow me' and raced towards... More

For a forty minute drive from Windhoek this is a very good place to come and see a variety of game. For me the Rhinos were the highlight. Unfortunately we did not see the Cheaters (there are supposed to be a couple somewhere), but there plenty of other animals to see and the guides are very knowledgeable about them all.... More

Easy to find, on the asfalted road from Windhoek to the South. Very beautilful rooms, but not Ideal if you are scared by spider (there where tuo of them on the wall, right upon our ben). In the early morning you can see spingboks and other abimals eating grassi in front of your windows. It happens the same in the... More

Okapuka Ranch is situated ca 30km north of Windhoek, on a sizeable property off the B4. It is a good stop after arrival or before departure for people who prefer not to stay in the city. Also, it gives newcomers a first 'taste of Africa'. The chalets and the large lounge/bar/restaurant are situated around a waterhole in game park like... More

The visit to Okapuka was just awesome, a great day out, accommodation was nice, food good and the staff friendly and helpful, lots to do. A short drive and the impression you are miles away from the day to day hum drum, will be doing again. Good roads and a very easy drive, worked well for the big group

We stayed here on the first and last nights of our eight-day driving holiday. It is a perfectly nice ranch, with comfortable villas but no air-conditioning. Unfortunately when we were there they had laid some fertiliser on the lawn and that attracted tonnes of flies, which was a bit off-putting. Would otherwise get four stars.

Decided to overnight at Okapuka on our way back from a business trip. Beautiful place, the surroundings was amazing. The chalets is in great condition, we assume it has been upgrated recently by the looks of things. (Just no air cone) Excellent food, they have a interesting menu. BUT the WORST service ever. Multiple times when we were "chilling" in... More

Was there for a wedding. Attention to detail by the staff was excellent. Gwme drive was wonderful. Our guide made the trip very interesting! When we checked in, there was confusion about the rooms, but was quickly sorted out. Saturday dinner, not very impressed with. Small portions for the price. But we made up for that with the wedding cake.... More
