Great place to stay on a transit or if you want to be outside of the city and in a safe place. Its a great beautiful lodge close to the EN1. Owner will treat you like kings and queens. Breakfast is fantastic.

We stayed there twice and was so expressed with the place. Rooms are amazing. Their chicken dish is the best. The place is so well looked after. Nice bar area to sit and chat to the owner while eating roasted coconut.

Rooms were clean and air-conditioned, beds very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was pleasant & quickly prepared. Our only complaint was upon arrival (10pm) the whole place was locked up & no management to be seen anywhere. The night-guard had our room key but couldn't speak a word of English which proved to be a major issue as we had...

Been stopping at the Blue Anchor Inn for years as its a perfect halfway house if travelling from SA to further north in Mozambique, and it never fails to disappoint. It is safe, very comfortable, the food is excellent and the hosts always offer a friendly face and good conversation.

The food is good, the drinks are cold, there is a pool to chill the Mozambican heat and airconditioned rooms with mozzie nets for a good night's rest. They really are...
