I posted glowing reviews on this hotel when I visited last year. Unfortunately my return this year met with disappointment and a feeling that I will give it a miss next time I am in Maputo. The location of the hotel is good and the frontline staff (during daytime) are friendly but the restaurant is LOUSY with a very rude...

Mozambique is developing quickly and firmly . We can witness this, in accommodation sector. Afrin is a new hotel, that tries to offer its best but of course there's is a room for improvement. The staff has to be more polite according to the status of the hotel. The restaurant needs to diversify its menu... and so on...

I've been in Afrin a days ago and I've spent 2 weeks there. The space is great and beautiful. The room is really big and clean. The internet service is awful and the pool is at shadow almost of the day. In my opinion it isn't a 5 star hotel. They have to improve in a lot of services. Overall,...

I normally read trip advisor reveiws before I travel to a hotel, but this time I read the reviews after visiting. I had to laugh how accurate each reviewer was who had visited this hotel before- because I shared the same experience! The positives: - The hotel is new and looks very modern. - The staff are very friendly. -...

We had a nice stay at Afrin Prestige. Good breakfast, good rooms, next door to Maputo Shopping Centre, very clean and tidy... so, in general, it's very good. But not a five stars hotel. The pool, for example, is too small. A nicer, bigger one would make a lot of difference. My judgement also has in consideration the construction works...

This hotel offers sauna, steam bath, spa, has an awesome gym and a decent swimming pool. Slightly expensive if staying on a personal visit. The food and the bar louge is quite neat. I love the outdoors where we sat under the rain and drank. The room has a beautiful view of the indian ocean. The breakfast buffet is amazing...

If you like a hotel that doubles as an apartment complex then look no further. The rooms are very spacious primarily because they are studios, with a kitchenette/dining area. It seems more geared to long term rental or short term on the cheap (though the prices are not), not really a hotel room per se. Don't get me wrong, great...

Good but expensive hotel with comfortable large rooms. Rooms with kitchenette with hotplate and fridge. Thr hotel is a walking distance to Maputo shopping mall a modern mall with most a shopper would want. Prices a quite high though. Hotel environs fair although there are some slums at the back. Restaurent a bit expensive. Food is quite reasonable. Facilities include...

I stay in this Hotel one month! The staff is frendly and rooms are very clean. Sometimes there is a little bit of noise at night... the SPA is ok, the breakfast is excellent, and the Hotel is in a very good location.
