The Ceiba Hotel is the most luxurious hotel in Guinea-Bissau with an open lobby with seating areas and tasteful African art. Our group stayed here on 2 separate occasions. Service is personal and attentive. Rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and lot of pillows. In the rooms, find water and coffee and tea maker, and a refrigerator. Walk-in shower with several toiletries, inc shave kit and dental kit. Th pool area offers several covered lounges in a beautiful setting. Lots of outdoor seating The Corisco Cafe is open 830am- 10pm for breakfast items, pastries, tapas, pizza, burgers, and a great tex Mex sausage dog fro indoor seating or outdoor near the pool. Excellent fitness room open 7am-11pm. Breakfast buffet includes a huge array of fruits, juices, pastries, proteins, yogurts, and so much. Accessibility Wheel chair accessible restrooms in lobby ond on two places on each floor with moveable hand rails, 5foot x 5 foot space. Accessible entry to hotel with automatic door and access to elevators and rooms. Walk in showers.

We spent 5 days in this spectacular hotel, located in the capital of Guinea Bissau, we found this oasis in the form of a hotel. We were afraid of choosing the right hotel (we were on a tour of 4 African countries) and in this case I can say that it is the best hotel we stayed in (and I have already had a few). Super good and correct food, to say the least, I thought the menu was a little short, especially in the wines, but it is also true that everything there was very good and the wines were very accurate. The exteriors are spectacular set in the country with a very large and imperious pool on the terrace where the sunset was one of the star moments we enjoyed at this hotel. The spacious, quiet rooms and the more than comfortable beds, spectacular pillows and extreme cleanliness. I would definitely return without thinking, a great success.

Very nice hotel in the heart of Bissau, the location is easily walkable to the main attractions. Hotel generously offers a free airport shuttle also. I didn't even book a ride in advance, but I saw the Ceiba worker at the airport and he took me there with no questions asked. Unfortunately, there is no bar, but the cafe sells some drinks until 10pm. At times the cafe isn't capable of making change, and the credit card machine doesn't always work. The rooms at the hotel are very nice and everything worked well, including hot water and AC. Only difficulty at the hotel was lack of English skills, particularly in the restaurant. I wasn't able to get some basic answers back about if certain dishes were vegetarian or not.

I went for lunch with my family. Their meals were nice but mine was disappointing. The Black Rice with Shrimp barely had any shrimp. It felt wrong because of the high prices Ceiba charged and the large amount of shrimp available in the country. The rice didn't taste of shrimp. When I asked for more they added 1 shrimp. When I asked for the complaint book they said they didn't have one. The waiters were polite and appologetic.

I am surprised when I stepped in to the hotel and my room. I was like wow, it is like a 4 star hotel in a large international cities. The room is super clean, the AC is really strong, hot water ! Great ! The food at the restaurant was great but slightly pricey from local standard ! The wifi was a bit unstable, it was on and off, on and off. But still able to do the basic ! Also also, the bed was really comfortable! I had a great night sleep there!

Room was impeccably clean. The restaurant was ok- best thing I ate there was the whole fish. The rest of the meals were not memorable. Breakfast was adequate. What made the stay 5 star was the stellar service from Edmond. He is a top notch professional who knows excellent customer service. Would recommend the hotel based on the room and Edmonds advice and service throughout my stay

Exceptional attention from the hotel employees from the moment you arrive. They have made these days of work and leisure an incredible experience. To highlight the cleanliness and decoration that has fascinated me not to mention the breakfast and the incredible pool there👌🏻 It's nice to find a hotel that combines comfort and attention like this one does and at a good price. We stayed in the Ceiba hotel during the carnival of Bissau. The location and amenities of the hotel are superb and of high quality. The staff were professional and made our stay very enjoyable. we were most grateful of their consent hat we would keep our room until 17;00 on the day of our departure. We tried both the restaurant and the coffee at the hotel and they were both excellent. The area around the hotel is very safe and we did venture out after dark without facing any problems.

communication during the booking process was excellent, Binta replied very quick. We had some changes in our schedule, she arranged everything. Arriving we were checked in by charming Daniela, very nice. The hotel itself is modern, clean, internet is (most of the time) good. Rooms are clean, the aircondition is very quiet. 2 disadvantages (that is why I am rating only 4): only 3 people speaking good english, Daniela, Binta & Rosa. That is a problem for example when ordering food. 2nd point: no machine for shoe polish.
