Hotel going through a much needed revamp. Staff helpful, but...Rooms are poor, dated, damp and very average at best. Location is good for markets but not a hotel would choose or recommend to anyone visiting Accra. Bar area is OK, about all it has going for it

*This hotel is by no means perfect but one of the outstanding features was the service offered by the staff. This ranged from; Restaurant to Front Office and not forgetting the Baggage Section. With special mention going out to 'Baggage Man' SPEEDY RICHIE' * The room was basic, I actually would expect better from Branded Novotel, On pre of the...

This hotel was a Novotel and has now rebranded as Accra City Hotel. The rooms are basic and the bed is comfortable. When I checked into my room, there was no towels bath/hand/floor and had to call down for them. In the shower the water collects and doesn't drain very well and the shower 🚿 handle leaks all over the...

This is a shocking hotel , rooms very basic , nice pool , food is basic , and the free transport to airport is terrible never on time - a lot better hotels around. I travelled to the airport every day for a week and the hotel transport let me down. There is no late room service.

Exactly what you'd expect from a Novotel, fine. The pool was nice, you'll probably see half of British Airways around the pool as this is where their cabin crew stay. The bar was good and although most of their "themed nights" fail, it's still a good place for a few drinks. The breakfast buffet was extensive.

This was what you expect from a Novotel in Africa. It needs a bit of TLC in places but all in all not bad. Clean & comfortable with really lovely staff, a nice pool area and tasty food. Central location and not too expensive. I wouldn't fall over myself to stay there again but wouldn't fall over myself to avoid...

I chose the hotel for its location and gym and pool. Sadly, my luggage didn't arrive in time for me to take advantage but the pool and setting were lovely. The gym looked a bit cramped. The surrounding neighborhood was loud and busy but the hotel grounds buffered this well. The room was clean and well-appointed in the basics. A...

We have nothing to complain about this hotel but I would not rate it above average. It's rather expensive for the services offered. However, the situation is good for visiting the city and we were able to walk to the local market. Our room was small but clean and comfortable and the dinner and breakfast buffet was satisfactory.

The Accra City - formerly Novotel. Lets give the New Manager a chance. In the past I did not write kind reviews on the establishment, and with good reason. Now I just returned from staying there. Surprised to learn of the new hotel name, and management. A frequent visitor will notice small changes slowly happen. Breakfast buffet improved, however soggy...

I had good expectations about this hotel , however my view is a bit different as the rooms are not as comfortable as I imagined by the description on the website . Mattress is pretty thin and so are the pillows , they are very soft . The amenities are standard and there is no condiments to make yourself a...
