It is a cool set up. It appears to be a popular tourist place. We went in the afternoon so we missed their evening grilled fish that they are famous for. We did not stay there but from what I walked by I would say that the rooms are more for the college backpacker type who just needs a place...

We were visiting Gabon as a party of 8 men, mainly with Kenyan connections, and we were heading to Iguela Lagoon and the Loango National Park for a nature and fishing safari for 7 nights, Our trip was organised by Patrick Avery and we stayed one night in Libreville on the way in and a night in Libreville on the...

Good for a quick bite by the sea. Nothing fancy. Nice staff, and the manager Eric always greets you personally with a genuine smile. We did not stay there for the night, because we didn't hear too many good reviews about the rooms. For a cheap, quick stay, it should work. If you like comfortable and plush bedrooms, maybe this...

Rooms are very basic, bordering on crappy. But, there is a clean bed, a working shower and a functional aircon. The mattress does give new meaning to the word "memory foam" though. Where you lie down is where you will wake up, in that hole in the mattress. The beer is cold and the hotel is on the beach, which...

Firstly one must remark on the location - right on the beach and absolutely beautiful! Having a beer on the beach was really a great experience and the location is fantastic being so close to the airport. I stayed in one of the older rooms and unfortunately it was really dirty with a used condom on the ground..... I didn't...

A coworker and myself heard about this place and decided to check it out. We ate here twice for lunch. The first meals were pretty good and not too terribly expensive. The second visit we ordered different fish plates. Mine was as good as the previous day's meal. My coworker's fish was undercooked and had a bad smell. He notified...

The position of the hotel is good, as it is just across the road from the airport and on a nice beach. The food from the kitchen is good and the price is ok. The rooms are pretty basic but more or less clean and with functioning air conditioning. Stay away from Andreas Fastery, would-be taxi driver. Do not arrange...

This review just covers the restaurant/bar at the Tropicana. When in Libreville we usually try to have lunch there. The location is wonderful, right on the beach with a nice breeze. The atmosphere is very informal and what passes for friendly in this rather uptight little community. The food is quite good, especially the capitaine and barr. A nice place...

This is hotel for a short hour stay with rooms that has no TV or fridge. Good environment in front of the beach but bad smelling and poorly maintained rooms, On weekends with noise of music coming from the beach. This is the worst hotel I have ever been

...The only reason to stay here is to mingle with other travelers and the odd and few local expatriates. The location is right on the beach. Really the only good thing about this establishment. The standard of the rooms and beds were awful - really bad. This hotel - I hope - have seen better days in the past. Would...
