The HOTEL is very nice, but all the time is full, you need time to request a room. The view around the Hotel is SENSATIONAL, WONDERFULL! Big Rocks, restaurant, lake, boat, FORMIDABLE VIEW to other Country Congo!

The hotel is situated next to the river, with it's walking path deep into the edge of the tiny peninsula that spears into the flaw of the river. From here you can see the riverbank of DR Congo. If you are the at clear day, don't miss the sunset! The only discomfort here was too long waiting for food order...

The location riverside, with great views over the Oubangui river and the Republic Democratic of the Congo, makes of that hotel one of the more picturesque in Bangui. Good architecture, nice terrace. Unfortunately, the rooms and the service is poor. Beds are very uncomfortable, showers are dirty, and some parts of the building looks abandoned. The rice is expensive for...

The photos of the facade don't lie. This hotel is surviving thanks to expats and UN staff members. It OK for short duration stay. I was here for about a week with a room on the 10th floor. It's quite the exercise as the elevator has the tendency to be very slow. Great view of the Obangui River and the...

Very good room service ( it takes just few minutes) . Excellent salon of Massage, Beauty for women with European products. Evidently will need a renewal, but it...

Note: I have never stayed overnight here, but am reviewing the restaurant/bar. This is my favorite place to go in Bangui. I get up kind of late on a Sunday morning, and I get a ride to the Oubangui by myself cradling a book and a journal. I spend a couple dollars on coffees for the next few hours and...

Take a concrete monstrosity with 1980s technology and decor, stick it in the jungle and let it rot for 30 years: Voila, you get the sorry, derelict, dilapidated Oubangui. The elevator is highly erratic and often out of order. I had to change rooms twice because the A/C did not work. One died overnight, another did not cool. When I...

I spent 4 or 5 nights here in Mid July 2014 then I moved to Levys Hotel. Crowded hotel that time and was at 5th floor. For 2 mornings I have to go without bath, yes..no water. Lucky I took one in the evening so I must not be smelling bad and thanks to vanilla Body Shop :) The view...

You have to remember that Central Africa is still going through civil unrest, curfews, foreign military on the streets and the country in desperate need of aid. The Oubangui was once a respectable place to stay and going by what there is now, even if it is faded and not always working, it still is one of highlights of Bangui....
