Great views of the Yaounde skyline from the balcony in our room. Close to amenities, Bastos neighbourhood Staff can call you a taxi for excursions. Staff friendly and very helpful. Restaurant on premises for convenience. Large, clean rooms with free wi-fi and A/C and warm showers. Good security.

This hotel was so much better than my first try in Yaounde that I might risk being over excited about a ordinary place. However, great to have a view of the garden, moskito netting on the windows, a functioning aircon that is not placed right at you in bed. The roms had snakk desks to work at. Light switch by...

I booked this place despite the reviews here because of its convenient location in the Bastos neighborhood (an easily walkable area full of shopping and restaurants). The location and the lovely doorman are about all I could recommend about this hotel. The front desk lady was not very keen to help and tried to insist I hadn't paid when I...

Rather quiet place close to the heart of the city. Don't expect miracles from the kitchen end or comfort regardless of the room you choose. Old carpets and furniture, no wifi or water pressure in the shower. Once you agree with this, enjoy a simple dish by the quiet terrace overlooking an empty football field (or what looks like it)...

Based on reviews, none of the hotels in Yaoundé are much to write home about. I decided to give the Azur a try, since people had said it was quiet. While not particularly enchanted when I checked in, my room was adequate, and I settled in for my week-long stay. Pros: relatively quiet neighborhood, and for me, not too far...

My partner and I spent one night at hotel and we enjoyed it. The restaurant was good and they have space in this hotel. Rooms are big and they have plenty of parking space. The hotel is located in Bastos, the best neighborhood in the city.

This is a simple old hotel in a good and safe section of Yaounde (near embassies). The rooms are big and comfortable and some have a small fridge. The staff is very friendly and tries to solve technical problems - sometimes by changing your room. Continental breakfast in their small restaurant is nice with fresh croissants. If you need a...

It was chosen for me, I did not choose it. 1. It has no elevator, and they gave me a third floor room. 2. The room was enormous. The bed was made of two beds put together. 3. The AC was on the other side of the room, so air wasn't really getting to the bed. 4. No remote control....
