I love the Olive Leaves and return often - its a real leafy sanctuary tucked away in central Gaborone. Very comfortable. All of the staff are wonderful and so friendly. Why on earth would you want to stay in an impersonal hotel??

We were warmly welcomed and looked after well at Olive Leaves. The rooms are comfortable and the location is quiet and restful. The manager Phayth welcomed us and we enjoyed good breakfasts prepared by Christine who was extremely efficient. A few things I do need to mention: - The beds are comfortable but the pillows are lumpy and could do...

The guesthouse has nice and comfortable rooms for a good price. The rooms and the common area are very clean and the pool offers nice places to sit and relax in a little green paradise within the city.

Crisp white linen and clean room. The owner and staff is always friendly and courteous. I am a regular client and the staff cater to my specific dietary requirements. I fell ill at the guesthouse and the manager went to the pharmacy to get medication and took care of me with great attention. I was unable to drive to the...

Olives Leaves Guesthouse house is the perfect little stop over when travelling through Gaborone. The rooms were cosy and clean and the staff were friendly. The room was equipped with a bar fridge which was perfect for us as we were travelling quite far into Botswana and had a few things which we wanted to keep cold. If you are...

I discovered this place in December 2015. This time I came back with friends on holiday. We used it as a stop over. We book 5 double rooms. We all enjoyed swimming till late at night. The breakfast the next morning was again top notch. The secure parking for our 4x4 was a big plus. It is centrally located with...

Stayed at this great little place on my recent visit for two nights. It has a fanatic homely atmosphere. Great security with high wall so your cars are parked inside. Perfect if you on a 4x4 trip. The design is totally unique with a mix of African, urban chic with a mix of farmyard. The service was excellent. The rooms...

I spent four weeks here for business. Olive Leaves is a small place (about 6 rooms) with a very nice hands-off attitude to management. I saw that criticised in other reviews, but I have to say for a long-termer like me it is fantastic. The deal is B&B, with a lot of privacy, simple but well furnished rooms, nice outside...

We spent a night at Olive Leaves with friends on our way home from a trip through Botswana. The staff could not do enough for us: suggestions for dinner, arranging extra sleeping space and then coming in extra early in the morning to make breakfast so we could get off early. The location is a little noisy - there is...
