Voted the best Safari Lodge in Zimbabwe for 23 years running, the world-famous Victoria Falls Safari Lodge offers easy access to the iconic Victoria Falls, coupled with a wildlife experience that is truly unrivalled. Now in its 25th year of welcoming guests, the Lodge is built on a plateau overlooking the Zambezi National Park with endless unspoilt views to the horizon, just four kilometers from the Falls. This is the only sunset facing hotel in Victoria Falls, and the newly-renovated rooms and balconies are built up above a central waterhole which attracts herds of buffalo, elephant, giraffe, zebra, as well as night-time predators, such as lion and leopard. Our warm and personable staff are our greatest pride. Past guests frequently comment on our team's sublime hospitality and seamless delivery. The main areas of the lodge, such as the MaKuwa-Kuwa restaurant and the homely Buffalo Bar, are rich in ambience and also overlook the central waterhole, where drinks and dinners are often shared with wildlife meandering down to the water each day to quench their thirst.

My stay at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge was a lucky strike. I entered a competition on Instagram and won a 2 night stay at this fabulous lodge. It was evident from arrival that this lodge was first class. We were greeted with big smiles and all rules and times explained so easily. Booking activities at the activities desk is so easy and you are always conveniently picked up at the reception. The breakfast buffet is delicious and to sit in front of that waterhole and sip on your tea or coffee is just great. Staff are amazing and I would highly recommend going to The Boma Restaurant and Drum Show. All in all this lodge gets a 10/10 from me.

Hotel's Favourite
Upon arriving you are offered a refreshing cool towel to fresh up with and a glass of juice. The accommodations are excellent. I had a pond-view room and it was beautiful. The staff are helpful and gracious. The food is excellent and the mosquito net canopy on the bed gives you the safari effect. The Boma dinner and dancing on our last night was wonderful. Being able to view the animals at the pond from my room. the bar and dining area made the experience fun. Watching the feeding of the vultures and learning about them was fascinating. You can also have a guide take you to the blind to watch the animals up close. A wonderful experience.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. You could stand on the balcony and look out into the jungle and see baboons, elephants, a wild cat, hyenas, vultures and the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen. The room was very comfortable and well-appointed and the service was very good. I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys looking at wildlife and the good life.

Great stay! Magnificent views from the balcony! Also lots of great activities in the surrounding area including visiting Victoria Falls and zip lining. 200 minimum characters is too much. You should lower the amount required. I was almost tempted to not even submit a review

Brilliant setting with direct open sided restaurant overlooking a watering hole visited by many animals. However 40 degrees when we were there and no a/c so a bit uncomfortable when you are not used to it. Excellent rooms, large and well equipped and all overlooking watering holes. Shuttle to town a good service.

Hi , we ate out in town which was very good and reasonable came in at around £50 .We also ate at the boma drum show which is in the grounds.i found that expensive but the food was very good . . we pre-booked the falls trip from but I know you can book them all at the lodge .As. Couple we took a 100 dollars to use as tips 1 $ and 10$ was very useful. Their card system is hit and miss so two different methods of payment might help. Everything included probably about £400 but we did an extra elephant trip and a sunset cruise . It’s not expensive . An amazing place .people so friendly .

I arranged a guide at the lodge on Zambia side and everything was very smooth. One car to the border and help with the immigration and a guide waiting on the Zimbabwe side. For me it was great with the guide as it gave me more information about the falls. Everything took around 4 hours in total from lodge and back but i might have been lucky with immigration. A lot of people are walking but with a time pressure you should arrange it up front with driver and guide.
