Good atmosphere and location. Good view of the Zambezi as well and a nice pool outside.Good power back up of the generator and quite efficient staff . Bit pricey on the room service and also could do better interms of the double rooms by having King or Queen size beds instead of two singles spread seperately.

Dear wellingtonmuruvi, Thank you for the feedback. We are happy to hear that you like our views, the atmosphere and the location. Thank you for the compliments to our staff. They do appreciate the good comments and are encouraged by them. We do however hope that we will have the privilege of hosting you again soon and we look forward to welcoming you back. The team at Elephant Hills wishes you a prosperous 2020. Yours sincerely, Nomsa

I stayed here for 2 nights and had a fantastic time. It’s an excellent location to access the excursions around the Victoria Falls area and has a free shuttle to take you to the Falls. It’s also a great location for the Zambezi river cruise and Boma dinner which are a few mins drive away. The staff are very nice and helpful too and check-in was very smooth. The room came with a mosquito net and a small bottle of insect repellent which were nice touches. Breakfast is very filling with a great selection. In particular, the coffee and hot chocolate were awesome!

My only suggestion would be to extend late check out time.

We were looking forward to this experience most on our Thailand holiday. From our arrival we were immediately impressed with the rainforest camp.
We were immediately welcomed and briefed on the day's events before getting settled into our tent.
Accommodation is great, covered tent with king size bed, storage, fan, flushing toilet and hot water. We had our best night's sleep as we love background noise from the forest. If you are light sleeper though, bring ear plugs.
Day 1 we went to the Elephant area. The experience was great, washing, feeding and interacting with these amazing creatures was incredible for us. We then were taken by kayak down the river for some wildlife spotting. Just a nice relaxing way to end the day.
Day 2 saw our journey to the floating Jungle camp in Khao Sok nature reserve.
The scenery is breath taking with the limestone cliff landscape. The water is truly the warmest I have experienced.
Accommodation is much the same as the rainforest tent, although the power here is limited, so charge your phone etc the night before. We did the jungle hike which I would recommend,it really isn't tough, a few steep sections but we'll within the capability of anyone without an injury. The cave at the end was worth it to experience that dark environment. Lots of crickets on the ground so wear trousers not shorts if you don't want to feel anything jump onto your legs. Spiders and bats aplenty too, but nothing comes near you and the guides don't bring you too close if you don't want too. I personally hate spiders but didn't mind the experience at all.
You can kayak yourself anytime except at night. I'd recommend d going yourself for a paddle at dawn or dusk and follow the sounds of breaking branches to find the monkeys. We were very lucky and found a troop of 10 macaques having breakfast right on the shoreline within 5 metres of our kayaks, great!
The guides here are amazing. We had Kong, she was just fantastic. Fully in control of the group, briefing us thoroughly before every activity. Very personable and professional, knew our names very quickly like she studies them immediately! We were very impressed with her and indeed all the staff here, they truly add to the experience!
If you are going yo Thailand and want an elephant tour, go here, truly there could not be anything better out there. The Elphant's welfare is world class!

3 nights at this lovely hotel. The room 610 has a great view with views of the Zambezi, pool, “smoke” from Victoria Falls as well as the golf course.
Wildlife is abundant around the hotel which helps set the whole resort off including baboons, monkeys, warthogs, Impala, Kudu to name but a few.
The staff are really friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is good (did not eat in the hotel at night). The bar is a little on the expensive side.
There is a free shuttle bus to the town of Victoria Falls which runs hourly up to 9 at night.
The room had tea/coffee facilities as well as an iron and hairdryer.
Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Personally, I was not impressed with client orientation of staff though the price was relatively good compared to other hotels in Vic falls. The room had cockroaches though I did not find it relevant to report as my first experience with the receptionist on check in was unpleasant. It has an excellent location with nice view of antelopes, monkeys and guinea fowls however, I will not visit this resort again even if that is the cheapest in Vic falls. There are other hotels in the same range with better services that I prefer to this. It is a matter of preference though. Unfortunately, staff with me on assessment of the hotel for my organisation had similar view.

Elephant hills resort is a hidden gem. It is very picturesque and a great place for kids and family.

The staff are overly friendly and helpful. We had a gentleman who advised us on activities to do.

The check in process is good, with card services for international traveller's

The meals were also amazing. The rooms came with mosquito nets and repellent which I thought was a great touch

You have a view of the Zambezi and get the occasional wild animals visiting on the golf course.

There is a pro shop to hire clubs if you are a golfer. Beautiful course. Too bad residents still pay green fees too.

The hotel needs improvement on all fronts (Especially on floors, room balcon doors, interior decor, washrooms, etc).
Waiters looked very inexperienced, and dressing presentation not appealing.
However, the check-in and check-out process was very good.

It had been 10 years since my last stay at Elephant hills.

It was good to see it still in good shape, the rooms well still well maintained. I noticed they had been repainted.

There aren't that many guests due to the global covid travel restrictions. But that meant we had the full adhesion of the staff who happily made sure we were comfortable and well looked after.

The rest day spent by the pool was such a pleasure the staff at the pool bar kept us well served all day.

Breakfasts were full English buffet.
Dinners were also buffets the highlight being the desserts especially the eclairs!

Tip: ground floor rooms r great for easy access to the pool.
Rooms on the 4th floor and higher facing the river r best for views.

an imposing and magnificent hotel, located on the banks of the mighty Zambezi. The views from my room were breathtaking with greenery scenic views of the Zambezi river and rising mist from the Victoria Falls. Across the river were beautiful highlights from Livingstone town in Zambia. Service quality is second to none, and for a whole week, i really felt at home. The rooms however may seem average for those wishing for a modern look. Everything else is on point. Should you wish for any activities from game drives to helicopter rides, the hotel can arrange for all these...

When leaving the Vic Falls CBD, take the road that faces directly westwards, the last buildings to your left before you get into a vlei is Rainbow hotel. Proceed along that road till you get to the T junction.
