Spent 4 nights in Elephant Camp West in January. Arrived from a remote luxury safari camp in Ruaha. We had been told by our agent that we were booked into the larger Elephant Camp with 12 tented suites, however this was shut for refurbishment. In reflection I think the smaller west camp was better for us although there was no...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 16 January 2017

Our stay at Elephant Camp was wonderful because of two primary factors 1) welcoming (and efficient) staff and 2) the location and beauty of the facility. Staff made everything easy for us and were clearly focused on making sure we enjoyed our stay. We did several tours -- including a visit to the Falls and a day trip to Botswana...

Glamping at its finest with comfortable beds, nice sitting area, private pools, indoor and outdoor showers, and a logdge/dining area overlooking the watering hole where we saw elephants, warthogs, baboons and other wild animals gather. What a great place to unplug for a few days --not just one night, but three days at a minimum. There is so much to...

The Elephant Camp exceeded our expectations in all respects. The activities on offer were excellent. The walk through the bush with Silvester the cheetah was a unique experience. We received personal attention to construct a plan of activities which were very enjoyable, educational and perfectly timed. The guides and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful throughout. The...

Beautiful camp with luxury tented accommodations. But there are no elephants at Elephant Camp. The elephants are located at a separate area which is a little drive away from the main camp area. If you want to see elephants while eating breakfast, or take a walk to the enclosure with elephants, think again. Food was plentiful, but would only give...

This is a very luxurious way to see Victoria Falls. The grounds are nice, the rooms are beautiful, the food is decent, the service is terrific - Wild Horizons coordinates very well! Only complaints are that the solar-powered hot water heater was not so effective (though I appreciate the attempt to "go green") and Sylvestre did not seem so thrilled...

The elephant camp was the 3rd and last camp on our safari, and more luxurious than we expected: private pools and air conditioned tents. Our first 2 camps were in Botswana, much more remote and farther from 'civilization'. There are locks on the doors to the tents at Elephant Camp, which were not present in Botswana. A small safe in...
