Had a pleasant stay at Wild Geese Lodge, good service and good food. Pity the bathrooms do not live up to the high standard of the rest of the place. It is not often I wear flip-flops in a non-shared shower. The bathrooms need to be renovated or a deep clean at the very minimum.

With a warm welcome from our host , Taylor and the team , I was shown my suite and then returned to join friends on the terrace for a sundowner before dinner . The view across with the sun setting was a spectacle and just the right ambience for a meal experience to come . After awhile , we were...

A great place to host a function, provided that there is electricity! A perfect wedding was ruined because their generator was not working when there was a power-cut, and they were slow in reacting to source another one (it took them almost 3 hours!). When booking an event, insist on having a standby generator and make them test is for...

Great venue for functions & also a nice lodge. Great location...outdoor bush like venue. Not far from town & easily accessible but you must drive. Bush walks easily... Very pet friendly... Very African feel & a few minutes from city Centre. A must detour...

I was in need of a break so me and a companion decided to pay a visit to Wild Geese Lodge. The lodge is situated just outside the city of Harare and getting there was quite easy. Arriving at Wild Geese we were greeted by friendly staff at reception. After a quick and easy check in process we were shown...

We stayed at Wild Geese Lodge for a wedding over the weekend. After arriving late on Friday night, after the chefs had left, the lodge staff were amazing and organised us dinner even though it wasn't pre-arranged as we'd thought it was. The room we stayed in was fantastic, and the mozzie nets were really very welcome! Loved the uber...

A resort with conference and wedding facilities plus a large lapa with bar. Beautiful msasa trees hang over the cottages and there is a large main building. The beds in the cottages are good, with mosquito nets, but the facilities are basic. There is a TV with about 7 channels, kettle with tea and coffee and a full bathroom, although...

We stayed here for 4 nights and whilst the surroundings were very pretty the overall experience was choppy. The plumbing was very iffy as was the Internet. Couldn't blame them for the power failures which are currently rife in the country but some of the staff attitudes left a bit to be desired. The lodge we had was lovely and...

Recently had a couple that wanted to have a wonderful wedding with 600 guests. Wild Geese can not handle that number with their existing structures but Nicky and Tyler bent over backwards, facilitated the positioning of a clear span tent and were very understanding and accommodating in the face of challenges. Eventually everything came together, no hitches at all.. All...
