If you like faceless corporate hotels where you wake up and not know what city you're in then the Bronte is not for you. But if you want a hotel that provides outstanding service, a great atmosphere, good food and that shows you how really wonderful Zimbabwe can be then you have to stay here.

Clean, functional & convenient hotel located in central Harare. The garden hotel lives up to it's name with large & well manicured gardens with plenty of space to sit & relax. Gym & pool are good, restaurants & bar good value and very pleasant. Staff super helpful & courteous.

This is the second time I have stayed at the Bronte. You always feel welcome by the staff. The gardens are just stunning. An amazing pool to either lie by or swim in. The food is good with helpful and friendly waiting staff especially Knowledge who always remembered what I liked for breakfast. Highly recommended to anyone traveling to Harare....

A very big disappointment, based on reviews we happily booked here rather than newer facilities. Very helpful initially online and by phone suggested a great stay. Whilst in flight, booking was cancelled by online agent as credit card was not verified. Manager sent personal email stating not to worry, booking was confirmed and they were waiting. On arrival, price jumped...

Dear Raywils0n Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay in our Queensgate wing. We regret that you were unhappy with the standard of these rooms. We have since advised the particular online booking agent to clearly state that these budget rooms are opposite the Bronte to avoid further confusion. I hope you will give us an...

This hotel, not far from Harare city is a garden paradise and more like resort than conventional boxed building. Rooms are good, restaurant and bar fine and service also satisfactory. Breakfast could have been little better and different and than same boring stuff every day. Dinner menue also limited is=f you are looking for variety. But a good stay indeed.

As I said in my 2011 review, this is a delightful place. Totally unlike urban hotels. Its gardens, statues, helpful staff, and quiet ambience make it an excellent place to entertain guests or a conference. We never miss it when traveling to or through Harare.

I have stayed there a couple of times. The gardens are lovely--one day I was worn out and just stayed all day at the hotel and had a pleasant relaxing day by the pool. Good bar, decent dinners and breakfasts.
