Sayari was the last camp on our 3 week safari. The entire camp.. pool, common areas, library, and curio shop were beautifully appointed. Our tent was a dream... Very luxurious. It was the off season and we came for the "quiet Serengeti" and to celebrate my husbands birthday. We enjoyed the amazing food eating outdoors with the back drop of...

We were delighted you chose to share Michael’s birthday we us, and we so enjoyed spoiling both of you! We are very fortunate to have such a spectacular spot on the...

The camp was better than expected - and expectations were high. Low season? no Problem , Wildebeest were AWOL, which left time for ele's , Lions, rhinos and of course the camp itself . All other tourists were also AWOL , so the true experience was as if it was Serengeti 20 years ago without tourists . The camp itself...

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a 10 day safari. Our "tent" was excellent including a raised wooden floor, excellent bed, and huge bathroom. We had Wildebeest, Zebras, and other animals walking by the tent all the time especially at night. The food was also excellent. On the downside, the senior staff (manager and assistant) seemed a...

Dear Gregory Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your experience at Sayari. We are thrilled that you loved your room so much and that you enjoyed the wonderful meals prepared for you. August is our busiest month with the migration at its peak and the game through the camp is magical, particularly, as you say,...

We started our safari journey at this camp. I use the term camp rather loosely as the accomodations are top notch. We were floored with our tent. It was stunning! Our jaws actually dropped. Besides the incredible accomodations, the staff were amazing. Roger and Anabel always made sure things were perfect! Dickson always greeted us with a smile and was...

Amazing place with perfect service and guiding! Best place of the Serengeti! The northern part of the Serengeti is beautiful at this time of the year. It only is a pity that at this time of the year you cannot go to the Lamai wedge because the bridge is under water.

Atmosphere: the northern Serengeti has rolling hills & kopjes (straight out of the Lion King); beautiful and quite different from the flatlands of the southern Serengeti. Sayari is a located on a hill, pretty landscaping all around, the tents are spaced fairly far apart (which is nice for privacy). You do have to use a car at night if you...

We spent 4 wonderful nights with Annabel, Roger and the gang as part of a 10 day safari. Our guide Joseph was amazing at finding everything and allowed us plenty of time to just enjoy watching and listening. He quickly learned what we liked and catered our sundowners break near them (I particularly enjoyed cocktails while watching the giraffes). Annabel...

The facilities are simply beautiful with lovely common rooms, map room, dining area, and the individual units are very well appointed in a manner consistent with top hotels. But what made our stay truly memorable was the warmth, care and attention from the staff -- top to bottom. Special thanks to our guide, Albert, whose knowledge and infectious laugh made...

For the main part of our honeymoon we stayed here and Matemwe retreat (Zanzibar), both Asilia properties and it was fantastic. I've fortunately been quite a few times on safari (it was the wife's first time though) and can honestly say it was one of the best camps i've been to. The tents (which are hardly 'tents') were awesome, all...

First class tent camp. Hard to imagine anyone finding the staff, food, or facilities lacking. Other reviewers cover these details well. What I found most important was the remote location. Only about five vehicles are in the area, so for the most part, your are alone with your driver to track game. We saw the big five in one day...
