Our room was on the ground floor of a little house and so we just had a view of scrub and a blue cloth outside the window to deter tse-tse flies. There does not seem to be a system here to check on room facilities as our toilet roll holder was broken, the hair dryer was almost off the wall...

Very nice place with good service and buffet food. Nice pool area and small shop. Unfortunately a long way to drive on bad roads to get to see animals. Not fit for disabled persons. The wi-fi didn't work at all.

We were a group of 12 amongst which 6 were children. We enjoyed the park very much as we saw the big 5. This lodge is very dated, the staff don't seem to be motivated, the experience we had at Serena ngorongoro was far superior to the one here. I will be back in the Serengeti national park for sure,...

2 million wildebeests(gnus) migrating across the Serengeti at the same time in a line of three or four at a time, one could not see the end of the line!!! hotel has a great pool, excellent service but lots of stairs and uneven surfaces. I had to break out my cane for safety.

We spent 2 nights at the Serengeti Serena. We had a room on the upper level. It was very nice with a great view. The grounds are lovely and there is a nice pool area, although the pool is very cold. The food was good and breakfast and dinner were served buffet style. Service could have been better. Our friends...

We were slightly dissapointed with this lodge. Although the location is very stunning and the rooms are comfortable, the place is very main stream and the staff doesn't give you any special attention. Buffet dinners served. Be prepared that your drinks will arrive when you are finished eating. Big groups stay here as well. If you like the exclusive feeling...

We stayed just for one night as our overnight stop in the Serengeti but really wished we could have stayed longer. On arrival you're greeted with a cold towel and cold juice before being shown to your room. The rooms are beautiful lodges with views over the serengeti plains. The rooms were really quite luxurious and had a real "african"...

In early Feb, we stayed two nights with six adults. We were all in the same hut, with three different rooms, which was convenient. We found the lodge to be typical of Serena - friendly staff, lots of choices at meals and a property well maintained. There is a nice infinity pool with gorgeous views of the Serengeti. Don't miss...

This was by far our favorite of 4 different Serena hotels we stayed in during a recent 2-week vacation in Tanzania. Like all Serena hotels, this one has very friendly and attentive staff. Also, this hotel has very good food, excellent free Wi-Fi, a poo,l and comfortable rooms. The location of this hotel is great: right in the middle of...

Is in the middle of the park ... which is a definite plus. Domed thatch roof buildings ... great accommodations. Good food and atmosphere. Part of a 6 day Safari package through Takims Holidays ... wonderfu guide ... if given the opportunity ask for a private guide, not part of a group ... you are more in control of your...
