The Serena Lodges are off the beaten track, and that's good. As much as I thought the Serengeti would be so big, you'd see not many other tourist of safari - I was wrong. So it was nice to be able to get away from the every day grind of safari. If you stay there, ask your guide to take...

The domed rooms and domed dining facilities totally thrilled us. Decorated in African style with makonde carvings and accent items in the rooms. The huts spaced nicely and evenly throughout the environmentally friendly estate located within the Serengeti National Park. A blend of resort with actual wilderness. Security rangers escorting us from one area to another at night. At night...

This hotel is so well located. Spectacular views over the plains and hills while wildlife roam in the grounds so take the escort. Lovely staff. Great bar and restaurant and the Serengeti is one of the world's special places.

All the Staff is very pleasant and accommodating all your requests. Food is delicious and had good variety. Only complaint about our dining experience was it was not...

The location of the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge is incredible, looking out over the Serengeti from atop a hill. The top room in each small cottage has the better of the views. The rooms were comfortable, though a ceiling fan over the bed would be useful, as the room was a bit stuffy and hot at night. Staff were uniformly...

Pros: Serena Serengeti is an oasis in the midst of the Serengeti. Beautiful rooms with an unfenced property so be prepared to walk out and find some animals … we saw wild buffaloes at the poolside. Zebras and Giraffes are fairly common too. The dining and cafe tent is well appointed with all day unlimited tea /coffee/ milk beverages. There...

This was our first of three Serena hotels. The other two were the Serena Serengeti and the Serena Stone Town in Zanzibar. I have nothing but good things to say about all three. The rooms are very nice, the food is delicious (buffet breakfast and dinner), but the best quality in my opinion is the staff. They are extremely professional,...
