We stayed for 2 night in this very attractive tented camp. In the middle of the Kopjes and of nowhere! Food and service is excellent. The rooms beautifully decorated. Electricity and wifi as from 6 pm. To be recommended!

As lovely as expected based on the great reviews. Rock hyrax scurry around and other animals wander through. We were in tent number 2 with a fallen tree right next to it. The reviewer on August 19, 2016 mentions an elephant pushing it over. That must have been amazing. At night we heard lions roaring nearby ! No noise. Very...

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. The tents were luxuriously appointed and very comfortable. Unlike some tent camps they electricity and hot water available at all times. Staff were great. The food was wonderful as well. Stayed two nights and wish we could have stayed longer.

This camp is a long drive from the nation park gate but certainly worth the extra travel. Great location, fantastic staff, very well prepared food and superb tents. Animals often roam through the tents at night. One of the best hotels that we used during 3 week stay in Tanzania and Zanzibar. From here the central areas of the Serengeti...

There is no better tropical savvana than here at the Serengeti. Set around a very green rocky terrain, Mbuzi Mawe is very classy in its tented accommodation and has larger than usual bedroom and bathroom spaces. There was not much animal sightings near the camp, but this would vary with animals migrating at different times of the year. Sleeptime was...

We were a few friends, traveling from Nairobi (used our local agent African Bush Safaris - of which well organized). . We reached here in the evening,i loved every bit of the lodge very...

If you're looking for a great meal, nice shower and a good night's sleep after a day of 'african massage' (driving around rough roads in a jeep), Mbuzi Mawe is your spot in central Serengeti. A wonderful place! Beautifully decorated and equipped tents, with full comfort of a hotel despite being a tented accommodation. We enjoyed the nice comfortable beds...

After a dusty day touring Serengeti National Park, we were welcomed to Mbuzi Mawe by a wonderful staff and surprisingly large and luxurious tented rooms. The main (Tent) lodge is on the top of a rock outcropping overlooking the park, and is surrounded by individual tents tucked into the hillside. This place feels very private and close to nature, yet...
