After a long and amazing Safari day we arrived at Asanja Moru. Waiting to greet us with cool towels and a refreshment were Ramos and his lovely crew. This open air lodge over looking the grassy plains was comfortable and gave me a modern day feeling of “Out of Africa”😅 We were the only couple there for 2 nights and didn’t want for anything. We were even treated with “bush babies” at night (a little secret)😉 I appreciated the use of solar power, so if you can handle not having hot water late at night or early in the morning, this camp is for you. In addition to crickets, we laid in our tent listening to other animals at night; hyenas, zebras, elephants. Our “wake up call” was coffee served on our terrace. We were served 3 course meals each night and when my tummy wasn’t totally happy the cook made me just what I wanted. On our departure Ramos and his crew sent us off with a great version of Hakuna matata that warmed our hearts ❤️ This is the perfect lodge if you like privacy, individual service and a true safari glamping experience.

5 out of 5: outstanding staff, great location (secret enough to feel alone in the magnificent Serengeti park), beautiful and well prepared tents (they don’t seem like a tent as they are super cozy, very well decorated), amazing food (we had live cooking, romantic breakfast). Everything was perfect!

Asanja Moru is all heart. The place is amazing, the hospitality is fantastic and the food is just perfect. I am a vegetarian and my husband is not, they made sure that both our meals were delicious, wholesome and beautiful. We were never kept hungry or waiting or bored. Whether waking up at 3 am with hot coffee for balloon safari, or hot lunch picnic baskets for game drives or making sure that there are hot water bottles in our beds so we get into warm beds, or Maasai stories by Moses or ensuring there are ‘No Bites’ with us all the time..everything was tasteful and so considerate. The staff managed by Bariki were always smiling and went out of the way to make sure we had a comfortable stay. When they got to know we were celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary, they planned a special dinner under the stars. The view from all the tents is beautiful and stay is so peaceful. The bonus is of course hearing the lions roar all through the night. Another key factor is that Asanja truly believes in sustainability. The camp is solar powered and they encourage sustainable stays.

If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience book via Asanja Africa! We had the most amazing 3 days safari trip as a couple. Asanja helped us plan the vacation with pick up in Arusha for safari in Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti. Furthermore, Asanja booked our flight from Serengeti air strip to Zanzibar. During our 3 days we had a private car with our guide Sharifu who made our trip fantastic. He was great company and had lots of experience with spotting animals and stories about the wildlife. We will never forget our stay at Asanja Moru where we were woken up by lion roar and our Dinner under the stars. Food was great and service was the best. Value for money!

This is a beautiful little camp in the heart of the Serengeti- the tents were fantastic with beautiful bathrooms, hot water and amazing toiletries. The chefs were outstanding - how they do this in a remote tent is something to see. Going to sleep with the sound of lions and hyenas is an incredible experience and campfire tales of the Masai by Moses as the sun sets with a cold beer can’t be beaten

Hey there Sue D Wow!!! what a thrill to read your dazzling review of Asanja Moru! 🌟 We're over the moon that you had such a fantastic time at our little slice of paradise in the heart of the Serengeti. First things first, those tents! 🏕️ It's music to our ears that you found them fantastic. We believe in giving our guests the royal treatment, even in the wild. Beautiful bathrooms, hot water, and amazing toiletries? That's just how we roll, even in the remote wilds of the Serengeti! 🛁💧 Our superstar chefs? 🍳🔥 They're like culinary magicians, whipping up mouthwatering delights right in the heart of the savannah. It's a talent they've mastered, and they take pride in every plate they serve. Campfire tales of the Masai with Moses at sunset and a cold beer in hand? 🍻✨ That's what we call the perfect evening. Moses is a true storyteller extraordinaire, and the sunset just adds that extra touch of magic to the experience. Thank you for choosing to share your adventure with us, and for painting such a vivid picture of your time at Asanja Serengeti Camp. We're thrilled to have been a part of your safari journey, and we can't wait to welcome you back for more wild and wonderful moments! My wife and I spent 6 amazing nights at the Asanja Tented Camp in the Serengeti where we woke up to the sights and sounds of Africa and fell asleep to the tranquility of the bush of Africa. Equally beautiful were the friendly staff who tended to our every need making our stay filled with lasting memories. There was Sara, Albert, Raymond, Adejah, Kafinea, Ramone and Bariki and everyone else who greeted us with an infectious smile. The chefs creations were delicious and satisfying to the palate. They also surprised us with the most memorable breakfast of a lifetime that we will never forget. I would stay here again for the real authentic African experience and would recommend it to anyone who loves that. Kudos to the entire Asanja Team and thanks again. Farron and Martha
