There is a reason why this camp is seasonal, so you can track the animals more easily as the animals don't have a fixed route every year. Being seasonal, the camp has tried their best to be versatile and yet not compromising guests' convenience. The bush shower, at first sounded a bit intimidating, was actually quite enough for washing our...

We had a great time at this camp, it is small and intimate, and waking up in your tent surrounded by wildebeest grazing, hearing heyenas and lions in the background was an experience like no other. The meals were all excellent and staff went out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. There are bush showers (i.e. a...

We visited the northern part of Serengeti last year and stayed at the Serengeti North Wilderness Camp for two memorable nights at that time. We decided to stay a little longer this time, for three nights, and once more were regaled from the moment of our arrival. This is a non-permanent camp, so we were not at the same place...

Spent 3nights here whilst exploring the Serengeti,a tent for a home with a bucket shower. The rooms were,as expected, basic but comfortable .The food, considering where you are, was tasty with different choices each night. The highlights were drinking around a camp fire and hearing hyenas, zebras and wildebeest outside your tent at night.A real safari experience 😊

It's a camp so bush showers, stay in your tent at night, ask for hot water when you want some. Food excellent, staff excellent, ask and things happen swiftly and efficiently. Comfortable, clean and surrounded by animals at night. Lions roaring. Watch the sunrise from your bed, a fabulous treat. We stayed three nights and everything was OK. Close to...

This is a semi-mobile camp, so its location changes from time to time. But camping anywhere on the Serengeti is a fantastic experience. Animals can be heard during the night, sometimes very close. Only a short drive each day took us to superb game viewing areas. The tents are spacious, with ensuite shower and toilet, so you don't need to...

We stayed 3 nights to see the migration, which we did so made the experience worth it. My husband was relatively happy here the tents are big, beds are comfortable and have private bathroom facilities, but it is a bush shower so you had to order when you wanted one! Staff were very helpful and the bar was a nice...

We stayed here for 3 nights in August this year. Note that the Northern Serengeti is an expensive place to stay. We initially felt we had to "compromise" by staying here. Price v's luxury. But how pleasantly surprised we were! This place is fantastic. We got to stay in semi luxury tents, including private bathroom and toilet facilities (our favourite...

wow, what a beautiful setting, we stayed for 2 nights, and then had 3 nights at Serengeti North Wilderness camp. The tents are discreetly placed away from your neighbour, to allow for sufficient privacy and are gloriously decked out, with very comfortable Kingsize bed, headboard with reading lamps, a solar torch, and a whistle should you need to blow the...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Is a seasonal camp and located in the heart of the Serengeti National Park, with access to arguably some of the best game viewing in Africa. The style of camp is simple but with every comfort being taken care of. Seasonal camps have the benefit of being able to move to some of the best game viewing areas of the park and every three to six months we move to a new location. Serengeti Wilderness Camp comprises just ten spacious tents. We provide comfortable beds with quality linens, en suite eco-friendly flushing toilet and bush-shower off an intimate dressing room area. Lighting is by 12-volt (solar powered) with bedside lamps provided. The tents each have a shady verandah, where guests may relax and read quietly or perhaps watch birds and animals. ... more   less
