We stayed at 3 tented camps and this was worst one. The rooms were a bit dirty with dust everywhere. There was no mosquito netting - we were told there were "no bugs here"- yeah right. They did spray for bugs before bed, however. There were some holes in the screens especially at the bottom where the zippers meet. The... More

The place is deep in forests. tents are good but very basic. In rainy season be prepared to face a lot of Mud around. The place otherwise is safe and you have a real experience of Jungle life.Bison and Wild boars crossing from the array of tents can give you a shiver! There is no stoned road ,it is just made... If you're looking for a true Serengeti experience with hyenas cackling outside our tent then this is the camp for you! I admittedly did not sleep well the one night my sister and I stayed here but not at all due comfort, but rather the sounds of wildlife feet away from your tent walls! The tents themselves were nice and... More

I really do not know what is the appropiate rating for this camp... We stayed 3 nights in Ndutu Savannah Camp. The tent was good and well equipped. The food was great (the best we had in Tanzania), both for the picnic boxes and for dinner at the camp. The staff was polite and helpful. The location is perfect for... More

Serengeti Savannah Tented Camp very good! Great location in the Maasai Mara area (NE Serengeti close to Kenya border), very close to the Mara River & possible Wildebeest crossings (we were fortunate to see one!). Tents are large, spacious, 2 rooms with covered porch in case of rain. Mosquito netting not needed as all tents with mesh & unzippable "windows"... More

We recently stayed in the camps in the Seronera and Kogatende areas of the Serengeti. They both sport impressive locations, the lattter with a view down to the Mara river.. They are special places, with only a few guest tents serviced by a very willing and engaging staff. The tents are spacious, and have a plumbed in wc and a... More

We stayed here for two nights in August while in the Mara area of the Serengeti. The location was terrific for game drives and was close to the Mara River so we had animals in camp every night. Our tent was very comfortable. Hot showers every night, good food and a comfortable mattress what more could you want. The staff... More

Camp is located in the centre of Serengeti National Park, no fences just great views and animals wandering through in the night. Great food served, despite the location it was as good as the lodges we stayed in. Service was very helpful and friendly. We experienced elephants in the camp overnight the first night and a lion the second. Amazing... More

We enjoyed all the special attention the exceptional staff paid to everything. The campfire under the stars, with hot cashews; the box lunch with real plates and silverware; the genuine helpfulness of everyone. Where else can you have a sweet man named Sheffield filling your tent bucket with hot water for a welcome shower? The entire staff gathered to see... More

There are three Serengeti Savannah Camps - our tour company (Eastco) took us to the wrong one (they neglected to give direction to the driver) and got us totally lost in the dark Masai Mara for 6 hours. We finally arrived at the right camp after a search party was sent out. We could see lions and hippo alongside the... More
