We made the decision to stay in the luxury tents rather than a lodge in the northern Serengeti and so happy we made that choice. I'm not a camper, but this was so much fun. Seeing the wildebeest first thing in the morning around the tents, listening to the animal sounds at night was just amazing. The staff was so...

The tent was so comfortable specially the bed. The food was 5 stars as well, and the staff were such quality people that enjoyed their jobs and making guests happy. I hope to be back with them soon. Our guide Steph was super helpful and made our game rides so much better with his knowledge of the place and animals....

We stayed 2 nights here on our 25 night African journey. Although a very good experience, if I were to shorten the trip this would be the first to cut. Had we not seen a Cheetah, then I would have wished we had not stayed here. There wasn’t a lot of game, and there was a lot of driving. We...

I took my father here as part of his 70th birthday trip to Tanzania. The camp is charmingly rustic and it's truly out "in the bush", which is why we chose it. Great guides, staff, food, drinks and game drives. We shared a vehicle with a couple and their daughter from Brazil during our stay, but it seems that if...

Serengeti Under Canvas was a great experience for us, we just loved everything. If you want to be very close to nature, this is the right place! Our guide was excellent! Always right time and right moment, so that we had an amazing day with big 5 game drive and river crossing...amazing! The whole andBeyond staff was warm and friendly...

Being inside the park gives you a great advantage for game viewing, especially early In the morning or just before sundown when there are fewer vehicles in the park. In early September the wildebeest were there by the thousands, which means the hunters are in heaven (we saw two lion kills in the early evening). You can see all the...

I can't put into words how amazing the camp and staff were. Our andBeyond guide was incredible. From the moment we arrived at the camp to the moment we left we were treated so well and were catered to at every turn. This was the camp that we were the most concerned as it was an outdoor bucket shower and...

Of all of the safari camps we stayed in, this was the most "in touch with nature." It is a mobile camp that actually follows the migration throughout the year, staying no more than a few months in any one place. They are required to have no impact (i.e., there can be no trace of them having been there when...

Don´t get me wrong, if you want true Africa, this is it. But if you hate bugs and critters, want an endless shower and tile floors, look elsewhere. This is the BEST you will get to rustic, timeless Africa but be prepared to have bucket showers, spiders and small bugs around and, best of all, the true sound of wild...

Are you looking for a glamorous camping experience that is completed with delicious food, beautiful scenery, wonderful coffee served each morning to your tent, hot showers and superb service? If so then look no more. I love the outdoors and consider myself a hard core camper, being happy with only the basics, but this would make even the lightest of...
