Let me first say, I am not a camper. At times, the thought of not having a toilet easily accessible from my bed at night, or not having access to electricity for my hair dryer, fills me with dread. This is a very basic campsite offering pretty much no facilities. You will need a torch as there are no lights anywhere in the buildings. However, there are both flushing toilets and squats and the showers are not too bad, just a little chilly. There is a huge amount of wildlife on camp and you will fall to sleep to...

Beautiful surroundings, the tour company tries hard and succeeds with tents and sleeping arrangements but the government run campsite provides poor service.Dirty toilets, cold shower, no lights in toilet. Thye take the 30$ per day per person and swallow it without providing anything in return

Spend two nights here, each with a heavily rained afternoon… Not too many people, hearing birds singing in the morning. and a good place to observe birds. Having lunch and tea in pavilions. Electricity by solar, so in rainy days it would be limited.

When we visited in February, the campsite was crowded; the camp looked like a construction site after some cooking banda renovations; and we were a...
