Ras Bamba is a small boutique hotel with miles of secluded beach ad 4 private cottages. Dieter and Flora own and run the place themselves, bestowing it with just the right aesthetic and rustic charm. We are very experienced travellers and extremely picky about choosing the right place to stay. We avoid chain hotels and prefer personal, family owned properties with great charm a bit off the beaten track.. . What we found here exceeds all expectations and previous experiences. About an hour south of Dar it is situated in the middle of nowhere on a beautiful almost deserted bay. A long stretch of white sands and blue Indian Ocean greets you. Ras Bamba is perfect! Imagine a secluded nest of cottages situated on the Indian Ocean with no one else in sight. You have the beach to yourself. And the food and ambience offered by Dieter and Flora are perfect. You could not find a better place to relax and unwind.

Ras Bamba is situated on a beautiful beach on the Indian Ocean south of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The bungalows are charming and well-appointed.
