Wonderful and very knowledgeable staff (most of them are locals). Even the volunteers were lovely. Good location; near the Little Square (Petit Socco). Really nice vibe/atmosphere. Clean. Fast wi-fi. Free but basic breakfast. Highly recommend!

I was annoyed at the lack of communication when I emailed the hostel a few days before my arrival. The room I stayed in was really bare bones (the metal bar kept falling off from the top bunk, which is really dangerous because I fell twice while gently grabbing it). On that note, the lady receptionist is very sweet and...

Well run hostel with friendly staff. Beds are comfy, share facilities are good, clean and spacious. Rooftop terrace has a nice view and good place to chill. Good security, own personal locker and key. Especially like the draw curtain on every bunk for a little more privacy and charge points as well. It's a little hard to find, but the locals will point you...

All great hostels have that wonderful atmosphere among the crowd. Where ye have so many great folk from different countries all mingling and blethering. This does that. Or at least when I was there. Great hostel. Certainly look to stay again if back in Tangier. Warm showers, lockers for gear(small items),a good breakfast, brilliant staff who were full of info and good...

I spend a night at the hostel, and it was alright. Not the best I've seen but average. The wifi connection was good, the room was clean, there was enough hot water for everyone to take a nice shower and the breakfast was okay -bread, tea and jam. It is right inside the Medina so you got a nice view...

November 23, 2016 Unfortunately my first night in Morocco slept on a bed with flea at Tangier Melting Pot Hostel that made my entire trip miserable. When I checked in at 6pm, the bed was vacant without bed sheet. 2 more beds soon became available as guests checked out after 6pm. Staff changed the bed sheets quickly and sold all...

We are really sorry for what happened to you. We are very vigilant with this problem, all our beds, all our mattresses are disinfected every week with a vaporizer which propels steam to 180 degrees, killing any larvae or insects that could have been brought from outside. Despite that, sometimes people bring bugs with them and we cannot acknowledge and...

I would totally rank this hostel higher if my friend and I hadn't been bit over 100 times by bed bugs. My friend was bit so much she ended up in the emergency room. They had to put her on steroid antihistamines. Bed bugs aside, the rooftop is a nice place to hang out and a light breakfast is included...

I can not find a single thing I didn't like about this place. The staff was very friendly and welcoming... the room was the biggest hostel room I have had (hostel room:)!!) and the facilities were great. The roof terrace was the nicest we have seen in Morocco. Breakfast is simple but good and what can you expect for the...

Had a good visit to the Melting Pot, a very busy hostel in the old city of Tangier. The rooms were clean and the beds fairly comfortable, and towels/sheets were offered as well as a complimentary (very basic) breakfast. The staff were well informed and very kind when a friend of mine got sick. The bathrooms can get crowded. Would...
